Your EBike Rickshaw: How to Accessorize it For Your Rides! Electric Bike Rickshaw for Passengers

How to accessorize your electric bike rickshaw.

Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. And today I'm going to show you how to accessorize your Electric Bike Rickshaw. Now, I've got the electric bike rickshaw here from sixthreezero. And I've got a lot of different accessories. I want to show you how exactly you can accessorize it now. I'm not going to show you everything you can do because there are probably lots of other things that I'm not going to point out. You can check our YouTube channel and also our product page. A lot of people are doing different stuff, but I'm going to show you some of the ways people are accessorizing it.

Now, first and foremost, one easy one here is to put your cell phone holder up here on the handlebars. And you can have a phone up here. This is a sixthreezero phone holder that's available on our website. You also do have a USB charger up here. So you can plug in your phone to be charged right up here. So I have those two options here, cell phone holder. Now ignore these wires. These are a sample rickshaw. So we've done a little testing and other things here. Your rickshaw also comes with a light. Now one common Accessory feature is adding on our supermax cush with a backrest seat. That is easily swappable. You can see right here. There's the seat post hole. You would just pop this seat off and slide this seat on and you'd be good to go.

So, that's one option a lot of people like is putting on the seat with the back rest and that's available on our website, too. And again, easy install to go ahead and put that on there. Now, Getting a little more creative, we've got some other options here. So one thing you can do is take a cup holder and you could mount that to the armrest here. All right. This is called a cruisy cup holder. You can take that and you can slide this on like so. And then just put this in. And you could do that on either side if you want. You also could mount a lot of other stuff to this bar. Like different baskets that can hang on there as well. There are also different types of cup holders you can find that mount to like baby strollers and things. If they have a, circular mounting piece that clamps, you could put a lot of different ones on there. So that's a cool option. Now some other stuff on sixthreezero’s we've got like a frame bag here. You can go ahead and put that right here. This can hold your cell phone. This is a black one, but we also do have the brown one available. And you can put that like so. That wraps around your stem right here. OK, that would mount there. You could put your cell phone in there. That's one option. Now, we've also got bags. There's not a pre-bolted area for a basket, but you could put baskets here on the handlebars, or we've got lots of different bag options you can put up here as well. The other thing too, and if you've seen it in other videos, is a few riders have mounted child seats. So you could put a child seat on the frame right here. You could put a child seat up here on the handlebars. So you could take an additional child with you, whether you have an adult on the back or two children on the back you could put a child seat, the liberty that goes through the frame here, or there's ones that also go on the front handlebars as well.

So that is an option as well if you don't want to put a bag up here. Now, I don't have that accessory with me, but check our YouTube channel and there's another family that did that. Okay? Now, the other thing too with this type of bag, right, is it's got these clips on here. And now I have my cup holder here. Let's see if I can slide this back. No, it's pretty tight. But you can also just come here and snap this on like so. Okay? So that's pretty cool too. Now this is sixthreezero bags. This is on the website as well. So you can go ahead. This has a magnet here that closes like so. And so you could do that on both sides. And these are easily removable. You can take it with you. This is another option as well with the same kind of a little bit different but similar straps. You can put those on the side here as well if you want side bags. I know you can't see that. Let me show you right here. So you could mount it right here. And let me just take the cup holder off to be able to give you the full view here. OK, let's pop that off now that we got this off here. OK, let's put that like that now. Right here. Like I said, you can come right here.

Sorry. All right. There we go. OK, so you would just strap that on like that. We get this side on as best as possible. There you go. So that's an option as well. You could mount those on both sides. I didn't put the little pins in to keep it secure, but you can do that as well. Now, another cool thing I've seen is, don't mind that. So you can see I have a harness on here as well. Now this doesn't come standard. But you can buy harnesses on Amazon or other places. And what you do is you take off this pad right here. And once you do that, you can loop your harness through the back here and also fish the bottom piece through underneath here.

And now you have a harness where your kids can be in. You can also get an adult harness. Again, we don't offer those currently, something in the future, but you can go ahead and bolt those on like so. Now, another thing I wanna show you is you can also take this back piece off right here and we can put bags on here as well. And I've seen that from some other riders as well. So let me go ahead and show you what that looks like. So you've got screws back here. I'm gonna take all these off. Now, this back piece can come off here, okay? So from here, you've exposed this metal bracket. And now you can loop different bags on back here. Choose which one you want. Like so. So you want to make sure that when you're pushing this back on this can go flush. So from there, then you would just put your screws on and you could do, I mean, you could put any, any type of bag really on here that you want. You could also do two of these side by side. If you can see right here. Like that. So now you can have two of those back there. And at which point I would put my screws back in. So that's a cool option. You could also put other baskets that can hook onto here that you could mount and bolt on and then put your cushion back on. So you can get that extra storage that you would want back here, you know, like to take with you.

Instead of this bag, you could also do this bag back here. I have seen that from other riders as well. So that's cool. Now, one other thing too is if you're looking for a different seatbelt, there are different seatbelts you can get on Amazon. You can easily uninstall the seatbelt by just loosening this bolt right here and taking it off. If you want a more car-type seatbelt, you can put that in there. you know, something different. That's always optional. The other thing I've done before is you can put a dog leash right here. So if you want to loosen this bolt, you can hook up a dog collar or something that would go in there permanently to keep the dog in the seat as well. And then, yeah, we've got these. This is a front handlebar bag, which could go up here as well to put stuff in. And of course, you have your basket underneath the seat here as well. I've also seen other riders put netting here on the side. So netting so that the rider that sits on the edge here, if you have a rider that maybe you're concerned about falling out, they can be seat belted in. But for extra security, there are nets you can buy to secure back here and bring down here so you can enclose the whole area almost like open-air doors to an extent. So that's just some of the ideas we've seen so far to accessorize the e-bike rickshaw. Just to recap, you can put an extra child seat up here on the handlebars or the frame. You can do the frame mount bag. You can do bags in the front, cell phone holders, and bags on the side. You can put cup holders here. You can put bags on the side. You can change your seatbelt. You can put a dog harness or leash on there as well. So lots of options to take a look at.
