Why are so many women choosing these two women's e-bikes?

Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to tell you why so many women are choosing these two e-bikes. All right, so there's a lot of electric bikes on the market, and particularly a lot of the marketing and designs are catered to men. Now, you can also say that a lot of them are gender-neutral, but there are not a lot of brands that are focusing on e-bikes with a more feminine, approach. Well, at sixthreezero, we are because we've noticed in the landscape there are a lot of black e-bikes. There's a lot of very, very bulky, big, you know, looking electric bikes. And right here in front of me, I've got two of the e-bikes that so many women are choosing the Simple step-thru electric bike and the Evryjourney electric bike.

Now, these are two great options for women, and I'm going to explain to you why So many women are choosing these for their electric bikes. Now, I'll start over here on the left, which is the simple step through a 500-watt e-bike. It's got a 10.4 amp hour battery with a 500-watt rear hub motor. So you can reach ranges of up to 50 miles and top speeds of 28 miles an hour in pedal assist and 20 miles an hour if you just use the throttle.

So it's got a throttle that you can press and not pedal at all, or you have five levels of pedal assist that you can utilize as well. One, two, three, four, five, that you can choose. One is the least amount of assistance, and five is the most. In addition to that, front and rear disc brakes that can stop on a dime are very safe. Also, the brown leather oversized seats, grips, and calipers are up here. You've got the 2.125-inch tires. These are a medium width. I say they're on the thicker side. They're like cruiser tires, so they give you a nice width to balance but they also roll smoothly. So, the reason why a lot of women are choosing this e-bike is for the simple and easy mounting of this e-bike.

You can step right through the frame and slide onto the seat with ease. The seat in the highest position is 32 inches. Now, in addition to that, once you get on this e-bike for women, you are also in an extremely comfortable riding position. You see the handlebars curve into my body, my back is upright, my arms are relaxed and nothing on my body is strained in any way, shape, or form. And a lot of women seem to prefer that where they're riding comfortable enjoying the ride. They're not leaning over. They don't have a miniature bike like this. You can still get ample leg extension and be comfortable. And there's another feature, which is it has this forward pedaling design here.

So the pedals are shifted forward four inches. Typically, the pedals are right below the seat, but with the pedals moved forward slightly, you can get leg extension while having the seat lower to the ground. So that makes the sliding on and off process very, very easy. So two of the features women love on this, one is the low step through, two is that forward pedaling design, and three is the color palette. So this comes in three colorways, which are navy, teal, and This is the teal right here. And it's just something different that pops. It's fun. There's also a whole slew of accessories that match this bike from bags on the front to bags on the rear. So you can accessorize it, customize it to look the way that you want, and also set up some bags on here.

You can hook a water bottle up. It's cool. And again, it's just it can be accessorized in a whole different way from any other e-bike out there to give it a look that suits you best. Now, moving over to every journey. This one has similar features in that ten point four amp hour battery, 500-watt rear hub motor, and front and rear disc brakes. I forgot to mention one other thing, too, which is both of these have seven speeds. Now, the seven speeds are not linked to the electronics.

It's seven speeds like a regular bicycle. So you shift up here. You can match the cadence of your pedaling to the cadence of the pedal assist. So it makes it a great combination of making sure you're in the right gear when you have the right pedal assist level. Now, the cool thing that women like about this is the design. This is one of the colors, which is Camel Mob. But this also comes in teal, navy, and cream. But then we've got other colors, which are periwinkle blue, and jade straw. our coral yellow and also our camel mauve. So colors that you're not going to see anywhere to differentiate. Now also has a step-through frame, but it's a little bit higher.

This is 17 inches. You can step your foot through, but this one has an even more extreme forward-pedaling design. You can see how low I am to the ground and you can see The pedal in the lowest position is 20, seat in the lowest position is 29 inches off the ground. The pedals are moved forward six inches. So you can have this seat very low to the ground, but still get ample leg extension because of how the pedals are moved forward. Let me just demonstrate here so I can raise the seat. Okay, right here for me. Step through the frame. Slide back. Now that's a little too high for me. Let's see. Okay, there we go. Sorry about that.

Okay. All right. There we go. Now, you can see my feet are flat, but when I'm riding, I'm going to get the leg extension because of the pedals being moved forward. The other benefit similar to simple step-through is this ergonomic upright riding. my back's relaxed, my arms are relaxed. I'm just in a super, super comfortable position and it makes it nice because you're upright, you can see around, and you're not strained at all. Women love the features of upright riding and the more casual position again. So it's not crouched, it's not small. This is a full-sized bike where your body can be comfortable sitting here and you're still very, very safe when riding. I know safety is a key feature with our women customers because they want to be able to get on and off easily. They want to be able to get their feet down easily. They want to be in a relaxed, comfortable position that feels safe to them. If they're strained you know, while they're riding, it may stress them out.
