Why Is This EBike Great for Beginners? Simple, Comfortable & Safe Electric Bike You Must See!

Why is this a great beginner e-bike. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. And today I'm gonna show you the EvryJourney Electric Bike and why it is such a great beginner's e-bike. All right, this is the EvryJourney 500-watt electric bike. Now, beginning e-bike riders, if you're buying your first electric bike, there are a couple of things you need to know. Number one is to make sure you don't get too much power if you have any fears or apprehensions about riding an e-bike. Jumping right into the most powerful electric bike out there may not be the best decision. Also, you want to ensure comfort, something your body will feel comfortable because inevitably you're going to ride farther on an electric bike than you went on your standard bike. And Evryjourney is a great e-bike also because of the mounting and dismounting feature. And that's another point I wanted to bring up, which is that mounting and dismounting an electric bike is a really important element in that you want to make sure it's something that you can get on and off of easily so it's not difficult for you. Because a lot of times with the added weight of an e-bike, if it's too heavy or too hard to mount and dismount, that can create challenging challenges for starting and stopping rides.

Now, if you want to come in closer here, I'm going to walk you through Evryjourney and explain to you one of the biggest features as to why this is a great beginner e-bike. Number one is not only the step-through frame, but this forward pedaling design. And if you can see here, the pedals are moved forward seven inches. What this does is it allows the seat to be lower to the ground while still giving the rider proper leg extension. So what does that mean? It means easier mounting and dismounting. It also means riders can have their feet closer to the ground while still getting proper leg extension. So, as opposed to having to be up on the balls of your feet, your feet can be, and I have the seat a little too high for me, your feet can be flat or nearly flat and you'll still get proper leg extension because of the pedals being moved forward. So, it's a great safety feature. It's also a great comfort feature because your legs, you don't have to pedal straight down, they're a little bit out in front of you so it's a little bit easier on your hip, stretches your hip out a little bit more. And if you can see my back is upright my arms are relaxed and I'm just really comfortable which is going to allow you to do long distances with no problem at all now dismounting you see is simple and easy so that's why this is a great beginner's e-bike that feature alone distinguishes it from so many other e-bikes because a lot of riders want this seat to be low like this but because of the configurations you can't get good leg extension with having the seat that low.

This is 29 inches from the ground to the top of the seat, which again, is a low seat height compared even to smaller e-bikes. 20-inch e-bikes, a lot of them don't even have seat height this low to the ground. Now you can see back here, here's your battery, up to 50 miles of range on a single charge. Like I said, this is easily removable. Take it on and off. Now the other thing is that this is a 500-watt e-bike. That's a great power level to give you enough power to get you up hills and around town, but it's not the max power, which 750 watts is the street legal power limit to be classified as an e-bike in most states. But the 500 watts is still enough power to get you up hills, to ride around town, and still hit speeds of up to 20 miles an hour by just pressing the throttle, which is located right here. Okay, so let me walk you through the controls. The other cool thing about this e-bike is the controls are very simple and easy. You've got your power button right here. You hold that in and your display kicks on. Right here, you've got your levels of assistance. And when you have your hand on the grip, you can push this up or down. One gives you the least amount of assistance. Five gives you the most amount of assistance. And when I say assistance, that's when you pedal. The motor will kick on and assist you.

Now, your throttle as long as this is in one, two, three, four, or five will work. So you push this as much or as little as you want to go. Just like a gas pedal on a car, you regulate the output based on how hard or soft you press it. You got your brakes right here. So rewind real quick. Once you get the hang of this, you can keep your hand on the grip and adjust everything you need with your thumb while keeping your hand safely on there. Again, a great, easy way to ride your e-bike for beginners. I'm going to go ahead and power this off. All righty. Now, in addition to that, if you don't want to utilize the electric at any point or you like to use low levels, you have seven gears on here as you'd have on a regular bicycle, and they can be shifted up here. You can use these with or without electric, doesn't matter if they work well in conjunction. As you have the assist, you can shift higher. As you climb hills, you can shift lower. But it's nice to have that if you only want to use a low level of assist, one or two, you can utilize the gears of the bike to dictate your speed and your exertion as well. So that's another cool feature that you don't see on a lot of e-bikes with having that seven-speed derailleur. Now, lastly, this doesn't necessarily denote this being good for beginners, but this color palette is something you don't see with a lot of e-bike companies. You've got navy, camel mauve, coral, jade straw, cream, periwinkle, and matte black.

Cool colorways that you don't see very often. So if you want to stand out and be unique, but also be safe while you ride, the EvryJourney is a great option.
