Why is comfort so important on an electric bike?

Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to explain to you why comfort is so important on an electric bike. All right, right here is the simple step-thru e-bike from sixthreezero. It's available in four colors, teal, cream, navy, and black. One of the most comfortable e-bikes out there. Now, why is comfort so important on an electric bike? Plain and simple, you're gonna be riding long distances, most likely, right? Now, not to say comfort wasn't important, on a standard bike, but on an e-bike even more important because people are taking their e-bikes 5, 10, 15, 20 miles, 30 miles, right?

All sorts of long distances and we want to be comfortable when we're riding, right? So as an example, the simple step-thru has this low step-through frame, but when you're on you can see your back is in an upright riding position, the handlebars come into your body so your arms can be relaxed, your head can be up and you can enjoy the ride while you're out there going for a spin. Now, again, if you're doing 10, 20, 30 miles, look, there's no tension on your lower back. There's no tension on your upper back. There's no tension in your arms. So it's important because if you have an e-bike where you're leaning over like this, or maybe your legs are cramped, that's the benefit of this being a 26-inch is you can get that proper leg extension. There are a lot of e-bikes out there that are 20-inch, maybe a more cramped riding position. You may be leaning forward. things like that. So again, it's going to affect your body and how you feel after you ride. Also, we got a nice, wide, cushy saddle on this e-bike as well. You can also replace your seat, and find a seat that works for you. But I think it's important, while a lot of people do focus on the performance, right?

The motor size, and the battery size, don't get me wrong, are all important. This is a 500-watt, 10.4 amp hour battery that can go up to 50 miles. Everybody focuses on that with their e-bike, but think about, you know, your body, where you're gonna ride what's important to you, like what muscles you want to relax, how do you want to feel when you ride, after you ride, before you ride. Because if you don't take that into account when you're out shopping, you may regret that after you get on you're like, God, after 15 miles on this thing, I'm like really hurting, you know, or wow, it's so uncomfortable. So just keep comfort at the top of your mind your body position and your riding position when you are searching for an e-bike. The other thing I want to mention is that this has four custom adjustment points you can raise and lower your handlebars you can tilt your handlebars you can raise and lower your seat and you can tilt your seat. So those options are available to you as well to make sure that you can dial it in perfectly to your body.
