Which Fat Tire ETrike Is Right for You? We Tested 3 ETrikes on Real Terrain: The Results are Crazy!

All right, so this is the sixthreezero reverse e-trike fat tire edition. Now you know that sixthreezero had the regular reverse e-trike with the thinner tires. Now we have the fat tire version. You actually don't need the kickstand because of the fat tires; it balances on its own. So it's got a 750-watt rear hub motor, really powerful. We can take on hills, no problem, which we're gonna demonstrate to you. You also have seven speeds that are part of the normal bicycle function on this trike. So you can pedal and utilize the speeds, whether you're going uphill or on flat ground. The hydraulics make sure they brake pretty evenly, or actually very evenly, and they're gonna stop on a dime, and they have a really, really nice feel to them as well. Now I know a lot of people who watch our videos, and they always scoff at this hill, but this is a pretty decent incline. I don't know how it appears on camera, just ran over a pine cone. And again, I'm not pedaling just to demonstrate the power, what it's capable of. Now I'm just going to start pedaling again.

Now you can get up to 20 miles an hour on this. Now it's something you've got to get used to because you have to really trust how much you can lean on this, especially with these fat tires, and just know that you're not going to tip over. Wow, actually, this is pretty crazy. Got a big hole here. I don't think I want to go down that. This is really putting the tilting steering to the test. The reason we've kind of kept the frame as compact as we can keep it is because we want to try to not make this, you know, into a huge, huge rickshaw, so the idea is to give enough room back here to still keep the trike nimble. And then if you want to ride without passengers or even the seat, you can remove it so it still rides like a normal three-wheel e-bike, so that's really why we're not you know, spreading it out, and I think you'd be surprised with passengers how nimble it is.

Handling was good. Two adult passengers, e-rickshaw. Today we're gonna go for a little ride on a fat tire recumbent e-trike that you can go off-roading on. All right, right here I'm sitting on the Simple Glide fat tire, 750-watt recumbent e-trike. This thing is powerful, it's a beast, it's a lot of fun. Unbelievable stability and traction on this e-trike. And if you want to know more about it, it's linked in the description. So go ahead and check it out. The cool thing is how you can switch. Now this is comfortable, but sometimes you just like to change your leg position. So put the footrest down and just enjoy that position as well. Can't balance on two wheels anymore, but you still want to get out and enjoy the trails. This is a great way to do it. I'm gonna show you a 20-inch fat tire folding e-bike that can go on road and off-road.

Really cool e-bike, 750-watt rear hub motor with a 48-volt, 15-amp-hour battery. So you're gonna be able to go speeds up to 20 miles an hour, no problem. It's a lot of fun. So we're gonna get on the bikes, head out, and we're gonna take you along on the ride so you can see how the zip and fold performs on roads and on trails. All right, I'm gonna go as fast as I can down this hill. And I'll let you guys know at the end how fast I actually go. I just actually hit 30 on that last downhill, just without any assistance. And I feel totally safe, especially with the wider tires and the brakes stop easily. This thing is super powerful. You can do all sorts of stuff with it. So if you're, you know, 250 pounds plus, you need that extra power, it's a great option. Or if you want to bring it with you, you know, drive somewhere, put it in your car, and take it with you. It's got the tilting steering in the front here. Keeps it really stable.

You can ride this on pavement, off-road, you name it. They stop on a dime, and you can get speeds up to 20 miles an hour and a range of up to 50, depending on how you ride. Now we're coming down this hill at 25 miles an hour, 26. And the hydraulic brakes stop us very, very quickly, and you can hear how quiet they are. pit stop here at the beach. We've already gone six miles. So we got some nice stretch of hard-packed sand here. We're gonna give this a rip and see how we do on it. Pretty excited about this, actually. So again, soft-pack sand is not really possible with any trike. But I'll never be mad at ocean water coming at me.
