UNBELIEVABLY Light Weight, Most Compact EBike! Lightest Weight 500w Electric Bike - New for 2024!

Hey everyone, I'm Dustin, CEO of sixthreezero and today I'm here to introduce you to our newest product for the 2024 lineup, the simple step-through 20-inch e-bike. This has a 500-watt motor and a 10.4 amp hour battery. So we are talking about top speeds of 20 miles an hour and a range of up to 50 miles an hour. Now 20 miles an hour with just the throttle and 28 in pedal assist. This would be for an average weight rider of about 165 pounds, you're gonna achieve those speeds and range. Now, the range is also predicated on the combination of how you use the pedal assist and the throttle, and the weight of the rider and the terrain you are riding are going to impact the range as well.

Now, the best feature of this e-bike is the step-through mounting height. This is a nine-inch step-over height. It is the lowest step-over height of any e-bike on the market. You can see right here, nine inches to just get your foot through. And the seat at the lowest height is going to be 29 and a half inches. So what this means is it means very simple, easy mounting and dismounting. This e-bike can accommodate riders approximately 4'11 up to 6'4. So, on and off easily. The other beautiful thing is you can raise the seat quite a bit. There's a line here for the max height. Find that height. And now the seat in the highest position is 35, five inches, so you're getting six inches of travel with being able to raise the seat post. So, you can accommodate a lot of different rider heights with this e-bike. Okay, there we go, clamp that down. Now, in addition to that, you've got fully adjustable handlebars, so you want to come in here for a closer look. So right here, we've got three inches of travel, or we can go ahead and raise and lower these right here. Okay. Oops, sorry. There we go. And you can see we have our max line right there. It says max, so we can go ahead and clamp that down. Now the other cool thing from a riding position is these ape hanger handlebars right here. With these ape hanger handlebars, they can come really into your body. So, if you see me here, I've got them set.

It's pretty good for me right here. I could maybe even tilt them in a little bit more. The taller you are, you probably want them a little bit farther away because your arms are shorter. The shorter you are, you probably want to bring them closer. So let me just demonstrate. Go ahead and loosen these. I made this very tight because you want to make sure these bolts are nice and tight. So, let's loosen these. Okay. Alrighty. Now from there, you can see, find the position that works for you. So, some may like it right here. Again, if you're shorter, that's kind of nice. Or you can put them up here. Depends on what you like. You just have a lot of options with these ape hanger styles like this. So I'm going to put them right about there. I like that. So, we just tighten these down and you want to make sure these two bolts are tight, so they don't move you at all when riding. Okay, let me get off to finish the tightening. Okay All right, that should be good. Now we can put our screen back right there. So, the riding position is one of the highlights of this e-bike. All right, now, talk about the battery. The battery is a 10.4-amp hour battery, and you have a key on this side, you unlock and lock, and then you can just pull this out and remove the battery. Like that. And from here, you have a power switch underneath, that turns the battery on and off.

So you can take this in with you. You can charge it inside and then to put it back on, you slide it onto these rails right here. There we go. And then from there, you just click it back into place. There we go. Now you're off and running. So to load and unload, taking that off is going to reduce the weight by eight pounds in the back. Makes it quite easy. You can also back here, we have a battery meter right here. You just push this and it will tell you. So we're getting pretty low here. But there's your battery meter. Now, coming up to the electronics. A couple of things I want to point out. We've got Textro disc brakes in the front and the rear. Textro is one of the leaders right now in e-bike brakes. You can see down here it says Textro. These are really good grippy brakes. I could do a demonstration for you later. And up here you've got your controls. your throttle. Now, for production, we are considering switching to a twist throttle. So if you see that change, don't be surprised. We just think it may be a better option for this e-bike. But as of now, right here, we have a throttle. And to power on, we have a thumb throttle so I got to make sure, actually, oh, there it's on. Okay. So you've got your miles per hour, your pedal assist level, and your trip. And you control your pedal assist levels right here.

So you have five levels of pedal assist, one giving you the least amount of assistance, and five giving you the most. And your throttle actually, just needs to be in pedal assist one as it is now and the throttle will engage. So you want to stay away from that while the bike is stationary. And then over here, we have a seven-speed derailleur. Now the derailleur does not work with the electronics. It works independently of it. The idea is that you want to match up your gears to your pedal assist level. So if you're in pedal assist one, you may be in gears one, two, or three. If you're in pedal assist five you're gonna be in gear seven, most likely. That way you can match the cadence with the power that you're getting from the motor. Now, the other cool thing is how transportable this e-bike is so I'm gonna go ahead and power down here. You can fold down the handlebars right here. Go ahead and fold this down. The handlebars fold down like so. And then you can also fold up the pedals here. And right here you just push in and the pedals fold up like so. So you can easily load it into a car and then once you take the battery off, like I said, it's very lightweight, very easy to transport. Putting it back together is quite simple. You just fold this, click that in place, and then push your pedals back and fold it out, and you are all set to rock and roll on a ride.

5 Easy Tips to Maintain Your Lightweight E-Bike

Do you want to keep your lightweight e-bike running perfectly? Well, here are 5 easy tips to help you take care of your electric bike.

  1. Check Tire Pressure: You must make sure your tires are inflated in the right way. Low tire pressure can make your rides harder and tires wear out faster. But too much pressure can make the ride uncomfortable and reduce the grip. Thus, you should adjust the tire pressure at regular intervals.
  2. Lubricate The Chain: You should also keep your bike’s chain clean and lubricate it to ensure smooth gear changes to prevent any type of wear & tear. Hence, you should clean and apply lube to the chain every few hundred miles or after riding in the rain. Besides this, you can also use bike-specific lubricant.
  3. Take Care Of The Motor and Battery: You should also charge the battery of your lightweight e-bike and don’t let it run out completely. Apart from this, you should store in a cool and dry place and follow the manufacturer’s instructions to keep it in good shape and extend its life.
  4. Tighten Bolts: Over time, the vibrations from riding can loosen the bolts on your ebike. So, you should check and tighten important parts at regular intervals. These important parts further include handlebars, seat post, and the wheels. Moreover, you should also use a torque wrench to get the right tightness.
  5. Clean Your E-Bike: You must wash your electric bike to remove dirt and grime that can affect its performance. You can further use mild soap and water to clean the bike. Moreover, you should avoid high-pressure water jets that might damage electric parts.

By using these simple methods, you will make your electric bike last longer and work better. Enjoy your rides and the great performance of your e-bike.
