Ultimate Electric Trike Stability Test: Taking an ETrike On An Uneven, Bumpy Terrain, Will It Tip?

The ultimate e-trike stability test. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. And today, we are going to go through the ultimate e-trike stability test on the Simple Glide Fat Tire 750-watt e-trike. All right, I am on the Simple Glide Fat Tire 750-watt e-trike, and we are about to take on this hump track, jumps, BMX track, motorcycle track. You can see in here, got all sorts of jumps, dips, curves, you name it. Glide and show you how balanced this is. It has an elongated frame and these 4-inch wide tires, which can take on trails and off-roading, and we can still stay balanced going through all this.

Now I'm not going to get any air or anything like that, but I'm going to ride over all these bumps, curve through it, you name it, and show you how it performs. Now I want to find out more about the Simple Glide. So I'm going to get prepared, and then we're going to go through the stability course. All right, let's rock. I'm gonna try to take on this berm first and foremost. This is a little bit scary only because I'm gonna have to ride over some wooden planks. That's okay. Another wooden plank. Come up this little hill. All right. Let's see, where can I drop in? Might as well come right in here. Oh, well, it's all part of the adventure. Little bumpy. Well, getting joined by our motorcycle friends.

 All right. One more go around, and we did it. Okay, so if you want to take on more of these, like flat trails, obviously quite a bit easier and much safer, and easy now, I'm going to put this to the ultimate test one more time here. Let's see if I can take on this. This is going to be really interesting. I don't know if I can get over that, but let's just see a little bit sketchy here, I'm gonna go around that major, oh, we did it. Here we go, no problem at all, and I'll swoop back around here one more time. Let's see, I'll come right back through here. You do have to know how to steer your trike, that's for sure. That's not gonna happen up there. Caught a little air there. All right. So, there we have it.

Pushing etrikes to the limit, but you can just see, there aren't many trikes that could even stay stable through that course, I'll tell you that much.
