Top Electric Tricycles for Sale in 2023 | Electric 3 Wheel Bike You Must See

Hey everyone, I'm Dustin, and today I'm going to show you the top electric tricycles of 2023. Stick around.

All right, so today I'm going to show you the top electric tricycles of 2023. And behind me, I have the EVRYjourney 250-watt electric tricycle in four different colors. So it's all four of these are the top electric tricycles of 2023, and I'm going to explain to you why.

Now, starting off, very easy to notice is the color palette. A lot of times when people get into the tricycle market or they're looking for a tricycle, the colors can be muted and mundane and there are standard reds and blues and whites and blacks. While we do have black, I will say that, but we've added three additional colors to the black it is with cream, navy, and teal. We're trying to give some spin to the top electric tri of 2023. So the color is number one. One of the reasons why this is the top electric tricycle of 2023.

Now also why this is the top electric tricycle of 2023 is the value. For this price point and what you get, it's going to be hard to find another electric tricycle to beat this. Electric tricycles can range upwards of 3000 plus, but the value of this electric tricycle at the price point is not going to beat. You have a 250-watt front hub motor, 36 volts, and a 10.4 amp hour battery. Now I know what a lot of people are thinking. Oh, I need a bigger motor size or 250 watts. Could I do bigger? There are 500 and 750 watts out there. We've done a lot of videos on this electric trike, which is why it's made it to the top for us in 2023. If you check out those videos, you're going to see riders up to 400 pounds riding on this trike. You're going to see this trike riding in the dirt, in the grass, all over the place.

So the reason this is a great value is that it gives you the motor size that you need. You don't need to spend the extra money for the 500 or 750-watt, especially if you're going to be doing the around-the-town riding.

Now, if you're going to be doing serious off-roading in mountains, you might need something more powerful, but a lot of times you're not going to be using a trike for that purpose. We've also put up to 300 pounds, of actual humans in this basket riding around and it sustains it and moves just fine. I'll show you a little demo with me on this in a little bit here. Whoa. And I'm 215 pounds. But please go on our YouTube channel and check out all the videos pertaining to this electric trike.

So 250-watt front hub motor. The top speed on this electric trike is going to be anywhere from 15 to 20 miles an hour. It's going to be about 16 to 18 miles an hour. With the throttle and pedal assist, it's going to be about 15 to 20 miles an hour. Now, I give you these ranges because it really is dependent on the terrain, the rider, and the weight of the rider, all of those will have an impact on the top speed that you're able to hit. But generally speaking, that's what it's going to be for pedal assist and throttle only.

Now your battery size. The range you're going to get out of this battery is going to be anywhere from 10 to 50 miles. Again, why such a large range? It depends on the weight of the rider, the terrain of where you're going, and the topography of where you're going. In addition, it depends on whether are you using the throttle, are you using pedal assist. And what combination of those two are you using while you're riding? If you ride primarily with pedal assist and you're only in level two, you're going to get more range than if you were riding with just the throttle.

So now we've done a video testing the range of this electric trike. We use just the throttle, and I can tell you with me on there, I made it over 20 miles, just the throttle on this top electric trike. So you can check out that video on our YouTube channel and you will see the performance of it actually. Okay, so that's the range of the battery.

In addition to that, you can also ride this trike without using electric. I'm going to do a quick demo while we're going right now actually, and I'm going to show you. Get my helmet. So the beauty of it is you have a 7-speed derailleur and you have a shifter. So you actually have seven speeds like on a normal bicycle on this trike. So you can choose what speed you want to go in and it's going to make it, in addition to that, you can see right there, it has a step-through frame. So mounting and dismounting is easy.

So you can see I'm not even putting the electric on how easy it is for me to just get on and ride this like a normal tricycle. You do have the weight of the battery, but the beauty is the battery is removable. You can take that eight pounds and remove it from the bike, and if you so choose, ride it like a normal tricycle.

Now the other thing I want to touch on is the geometry of this frame. This is a very comfortable ergonomic frame. That's going to raise the seat up for me here a little bit. What I mean by that. Okay, well firstly, there are four custom adjustment points on this electric trike. You have two adjustment points on your seat, raise and lower tilt. You can also raise and lower the handlebar and tilt the handlebar. We actually have a fitting video for this electric trike. You can see that video on our YouTube. Watch that and you'll see how we can adjust this to body heights from four 11 all the way up to six feet tall.

Now you just step through and now put your foot down and you very easily mount. Now you can see I am in an ergonomic position. Now if I could, I would adjust the bike a little bit more. I'd raise the handlebars for me, but my back's going to be upright. I don't have to lean forward. The handlebars actually swoop into your body, which is going to allow you to ride much longer and relieve any pain in the shoulders and arms. You don't have to hunch forward or do anything like that. And again, those four custom adjustment points are available for you to adjust this e-trike as you see fit.

Now coming into the back, we have this basket. As I mentioned, you can fit a lot of things in there and it also will carry a substantial amount of weight. I'm going to put my helmet here for the time being. Now we have the battery right here. So the battery is easily removable. You can take this in with you to charge at night. You can park it at a store and bring the battery in if you're worried it's going to get stolen or park the truck outside, bring the battery in to charge it while you're working at an office and then you simply can just put it back in. You can also leave it on the trike if you want to charge it there, whatever is easiest for you. Totally up to you.

One thing I also want to point out is the design and the look. This is a very elegant, sleek frame with a brown seat and grips. Obviously, the black version has the black seat and the grips, but it's a very elegant, simple, clean design. Very nice to look at. And in addition to that, you have great front and rear brakes with the front caliber brakes and the rear roller hub brake. They stop this thing on a dime. So let me demonstrate how easy this is to ride.

So I already showed you how to ride it as a normal tricycle. So you just step through. Your power button is located here. And now if you want to see any additional demos or how-tos, we actually have a video test riding this e-trike with eight cameras on it. And you can see everything, how we shift, how we turn it on, the whole nine yards. So check that out on our YouTube channel also.

So let me show you pedal assist. So now I just start pedaling and the motor kicks in and you can see I don't even need to do much at all and I'm already up to 10 miles an hour. Now I break, see how it breaks very easily and I can swoop around. Now let me show you. Go ahead and split these cones. And I'm just using the throttle, not pedaling at all. And again, I'm 215 pounds and this is what I say about 250 watts of power. It's more than you really think and a lot of people are taken aback by how much of a jolt it gives you when you initially start riding. So there you have it. Use my throttle. Go ahead and do a little cone split again. Come through the finish line. I'm just going to stop right here on a dime. There we have it. I get off and I can turn the power off.
