Tools You NEED To Assemble an Electric Bike the RIGHT WAY | E-Bike Tools

Hey, everyone. Peter Kaltreider at sixthreezero. Today, I'm going to answer a very commonly asked question which is, what tools do you need to assemble an e-bike? Stay tuned.

Okay. Anyway, it's another beautiful day here in San Clemente. It's mid-November and I love it here. You only need a few tools to assemble an e-bike, with our e-bikes and also with almost all e-bikes that you could order. You will receive a basic set of tools to assemble the bike. However, you can also use your own tools. You don't need a whole lot. It's very basic. However, I do want to make mention of one thing. In the bicycle world, we use the metric system, not the Imperial or English, or American systems. So you need to use metric wrenches and tools. All right?

Basically, you're going to need three types of Allen wrenches, four millimeters, five millimeters, and six millimeters. You'll also need regular wrenches. Looks like this. You're going to need 13 millimeters, 14 millimeters, and 15 millimeters. You may also need a 10 millimeter and a nine millimeter depending on any adjustments you might want to make. And then, just a Phillips screwdriver and something to cut zip ties and tape with. Maybe scissors will do the trick, or some snips, or a utility knife. Now, Nate, if you like to come over here, I'll just show you the tools that we have. If you don't have specific wrenches, you can also use just an adjustable wrench for those different sizes. So, here you go.

That's really all there is to it. All right. Thanks for watching. I really hope that was helpful.
