We are here in California right now. We've got a blustery day, rainy conditions, and I'm out in my Simple Glide, wanting to show you guys how you can ride in the rain. Now, you've got a full windshield here, you've got your top covering, and you've got your back as well, and your battery is covered by the canopy. I'm covered by the canopy. Now, we don't have them yet, but we are going to be making side panels as well that will fully enclose you here to prevent you from getting wet at all on your rides.

Right now, I've got the side, I've got no side panels on, but you still have this nice little roof. And I'm just gonna take you on a ride and show you how we can get out and be protected from the elements. The cool thing is with the windshield too, right? Even on these blustery days, you're not gonna feel the wind or the rain hitting you in the face. So I'm gonna get all ready. We're gonna go out for a ride.

Riding Experience in the Rain

All right, nothing like a little ride in the rain. Got our windshield. Now, obviously we don't have windshield wipers, so there are some water splotches on our windshield, but you know, all in all, it's pretty nice not getting blasted in the face while we ride. Now, as I said, we're gonna come out with side panels.

Right now we don't, so if it is a cross rain of sorts, you know, you get a little bit wet, but it keeps most of your body dry. And also, again, even with winds and stuff, this is nice. The windshield is actually a game-changer because it's not that far. Yeah, the windshield is really a game-changer because again it's not blowing me in the face, so it's preventing me from being cold. If you saw our videographer, she's getting blasted in the face.

Test Ride & Canopy Comfort

We'll just make a quick loop down here and come back. So this is really your mobility device right here. I do want to be careful because the roads are slick, so I don't want to slide out at all. I'll just turn around right here, Lisa. All right. Now, if you want to turn around, something else is... Oh, no, we didn't need to. There we go. Yeah, this is great. I love this protection. And I can pedal, too. Let's see. I'm going to go ahead and shift... cozy in here with the full canopy, the windshield. It probably would have been nice if I put pants on today, but... A little bit of spray from the tires. Not too bad. So comfortable. God, I'm loving the windshield. I really am. So good.

Now again, our videographer doesn't have the luxury of what I have right now, so we're not gonna do a super long ride here, but we just wanted to demonstrate being out in the rain. There we go. Got a little slick patch there. Have it. So if you want something you can use all-purpose, you know, get shielded from the rain, this is a great option honestly; it's cozy in here.
