An e-bike that's adjustable for different heights.
Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today, I'm going to show you an e-bike that's adjustable for differing heights. All right, right here is the Relaxed body 500-watt e-bike. This is the standard version. We now have a deluxe version that comes with a front suspension fork as well. The cool thing about this e-bike is how adjustable and customizable it is for differing heights. This can accommodate riders from about 4'11", all the way up to about 6'4". And the reason for that is because of this elongated frame. Now, if you see the rider pedaling in front of their body, right? The pedals are moved forward about 14 inches from where they typically are.
What this allows for is it allows for riders to get better leg extension with the seat lower or even the seat raised. So the reason that this e-bike is good for shorter heights is that you can drop the seat down. Now we have too long of a seat post in here, actually, but you're able to even get the seat lower down to 24 and a half inches, which is a very, very low seat height if you're familiar with e-bikes. On the flip side of that, you're also able to let's make sure we have the correct height of the seat post here. You're also able to raise the seat to about 35 and a half inches. In addition to raising the seat, you also get that leg extension from the 14 inches for forward pedaling. So this can accommodate all types of different rider heights. Now, as we work our way up to the handlebars, you'll also see, and I have my tools here, that you have multiple adjustment points, okay?
So number one, you can loosen these, which is sort of your standard adjustment, and you can find the right tilt of the handlebar, right? So if you want it tilted into your body like so, let's go ahead and line that up right about there. Okay, I'm just going to tighten these back down. Now, you also have an adjustment point right here on the stem as well, another adjustment point. So you just go ahead and loosen this bolt, and then you're gonna go ahead and turn this. It's the other side. Okay, there we go. Now you can see from there, I can bring these bars even closer. Now, of course, that angle's not gonna work. So I would then loosen right here and tilt these up, right? So now we've brought them even closer into the rider's body. So if you're someone who has shorter arms, you obviously wanna bring them in closer to your body. If you're taller, you can bring them out here if you so choose, and of course, you have the raising and lowering that you can do with the handlebars as well.
So whenever you find the height and the angle of the stem that you like, let's say, let's try right about there. You just come back in here, tighten this bolt down like so, and then you tighten this bolt underneath here as well. Okay. And that locks your angle in, and then from there, go ahead and tighten these bolts again. And now the seats are a little bit too high for me. Oh, don't worry about that. And I would prefer the bars to be just a smidge farther away from my body. So I'm going to come in here and I'm going to loosen that, pull those back. Ah, much better for me. Let's go ahead and tighten that down. You know, it may take you a couple of rides at first. Perfect. And you can see how the bars come nicely into the rider's body. I like, oh, the seat's not tight.
I like how I don't have to lean forward. I'm sitting upright, and of course, easy mounting and dismounting as well on this e-bike. So, aside from how easy it is to adjust and how it can accommodate different heights, it's a 500-watt rear hub motor. It's got mechanical disc brakes. You have a thumb throttle to go without pedaling. You have five levels of assistance you can utilize while pedaling. You also have seven gears on here that you can shift and use in conjunction with the pedal assist levels. And the top speed on this is gonna be up to about 22 miles an hour, and your range is gonna be up to 50 miles, depending on how you use the throttle and the pedal assist, that range can vary. So awesome. Comfortable e-bike. You can see that you sit in an ergonomic position, super relaxed in your arms and your back. A lot of fun to ride. Really, comfortable. One of my favorites, to be honest.
