The best way to take your disabled child on a bike ride. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today I'm going to show you a bike that is the best way to take your disabled child on a bike ride. All right, so this is the Sixthreezero EVRYjourney Rickshaw. And you can see right away here, we've got a seat at the back where you can bring passengers with you. So, we have had a lot of customers. Come to us also purchased a Rickshaw, and they have a disabled son or daughter who is not able to ride a bicycle on their own. And they're looking for something safe, reliable, balanced, where they can get them out to still enjoy the wind in their face and just the general overall, you know, enjoyment of riding a bike. Now we've sold a lot of the Rickshaws, and many families have had a disabled son or daughter, and they've absolutely loved it. And there are a few reasons why. So firstly, I'll tell you about the Rickshaw itself. Now, number one, it is electric, right? And it is a tricycle. You can see it's got 4-inch wide tires, which keep it very safe and balanced on the ground. Also, for children to get on and off, there's a step right here, and you don't have to worry about them tipping the bike over or anything happening like that, because this is nice and balanced, right? So they can just step on and get on.
Now, if they're not physically able to do that, you could set them down in the seat, and then you can buckle them in with the seatbelt back here. The other thing, too, is you can also add a three-point harness to that. We have videos showing that as well. Many of the parents with children who have disabilities do wanna have the three-point or five-point harness, sorry, five-point harness that you can put on the back seat. So that is an option you can do there as well. So you have a 750-watt front hub motor and a 21-amp-hour battery. So this is electric. You can get assistance from the motor while you're pedaling, or there's also a throttle. The reason parents love it so much is because if they wanna get out and ride. They can take their son or daughter out, but if they get tired, you can utilize the throttle at any point during your ride to take a break. So if you have a regular bicycle that you've been bringing around on, having the electric is a nice benefit because then you can determine how much or how little work you do when you're out for a ride. You can also get up to 50 miles of range with the 21-amp-hour battery. Depends on the type of terrain and how you use the electric. That will dictate the amount of range you get.
On flat ground, you'll get more range. If you take on a lot of hills, it's going to decrease the range. You have hydraulic disc brakes here on all three wheels. Those provide maximum stopping power. They're easy to pull the lever so you can feel safe when you do need to come to a stop, whether it's on flat ground or coming downhill. Now, underneath the back seat here, you also have storage. There's a latch and a door that flips down. You can store things on your ride. In addition to that, there's also a hitch back here where you can attach a cargo trailer or a basket. So if you guys want to go somewhere like a park and bring belongings with you, you can put those back there. If you need extra storage, you can buy those additionally to add on as well. You can also attach an additional row of seating, which is an option as well. So go ahead and check that out. All right, now let's see. The display is up here. It tells you your miles per hour. Your battery range, you have your controls here to adjust the electric assist up and down, depending on how much power you want to have while you're pedaling. There are five levels that you can adjust to.
Also, if you want to see lots of other videos where we demonstrate on the back seat here, we've gone out on rides with two adults, three kids, And you can see I'm 5'11", 230. I fit back here comfortably by myself. Now, for smaller children, you could fit up to three. I could also fit in. My wife has fit back in here with me now. It is a little tight. Smaller adults are going to fit a little better, but you could also fit an adult with a child here as well. So if you want to, you know, maybe you want to go out with your husband and wife and son or daughter. So that is an option as well. So the smaller or younger they are, the easier they'll fit back here. And you could do the five-point harness for them and just have the seatbelt for you as well. So that option exists. It tells you your miles per hour. Your battery range, you have your controls here to adjust the electric assist up and down, depending on how much power you want to have while you're pedaling. There are five levels that you can adjust to.
