The 3 Wheel Electric Bike all Seniors Should Know About in 2023 | Electric Trikes for Seniors

I'm Dustin, and today I'm going to show you the one tricycle all seniors should know about. Stick around.

All right. Today I'm going to show you the one tricycle all seniors should know about. It is the EvryJourney, 250-watt electric tricycle, by Sixthreezero. It is here. I truly think all senior riders should know about this tricycle. If you're in the market for a tricycle, I believe this is a great option for you. Let me explain why.

To start off, most tricycles in the market are mundane, white, red, and blue. We have come up with a much more vast color palette here, teal, cream, and navy. Black, is obviously standard, a lot of people love black so we've kept that as a staple.

The one thing that really makes this trike, great for the senior market, is the ergonomics. In addition, is the simple step-through frame. They all go hand in hand. Easy to mount and dismount, you just step right through the middle of the frame and, like that, you can get on with no problem.

Once you're on, that's the best part, you are going to be in an ergonomic riding position. Your back's going to be upright, your arms are going to be relaxed, and you're going to have no tension anywhere in your body. The beauty of this, ride farther and don't have pain when you're done. It's just so much easier on your body than sitting forward and doing things like that.

In addition, four custom adjustment points. You have the ability to raise and lower the handlebars, tilt the handlebars, raise and lower the seat, and tilt the seat. You can dial this in to be ergonomic for many different body types. We've done demos of riders up to 400 pounds, taller riders, and riders 4'11" to 6'. You can see those videos on our channel. Take a look at that and see how we adjust this tricycle to their bodies.

In addition to that, we have an electric motor. What makes that so great for seniors is you can ride further, and do more than you ever thought. Riding a regular tricycle around can be hard. You're towing around a lot of weight. Depending on where you're going, having the 250-watt motor on there is going to open up the world to you and allow you to go farther, bring more on your rides, but not add too much power where it's dangerous.

The 250 watts will give you enough, but it won't overpower the trike. There are trikes out there that exist for 750 watts, and 500 watts. My belief is that seniors only need to know about this trike because 250 watts is enough power. Now check out our YouTube channel. We've done a 10-mile ride with seniors on this trike. We've done other demos with seniors on this trike. You can see all of them, how it works, how far they can go, and what kind of new exploration you can do with this power.

With the 250 watts, you could hit up to 20 miles an hour even. It depends on if you're using a throttle or pedal assist. Pedal assist, you're going to be up to about 20. Full throttle, you're going to be about 13 to 18. It really depends on the terrain, topography, and the weight of the riders for that top speed. But I believe that's just enough power. I've seen other senior riders who have bigger motors, and the thrust of it scares them. You can hear about other people's experiences, again, on the YouTube channel. Check out all those videos.

Moving on to the battery, easily removable. You just turn the key and it comes right out. You can charge it in your house, you can charge it in your office, or you can take it off if you're parking outside if you're concerned someone's going to steal the bike or the battery. This is going to give you a range of about 10 to 50 miles. Why is it such a large range? Because it depends on if you use pedal assist, throttle, or if you just ride it sometimes like a normal tricycle.

Pedal assist, the bike's going to help you. You're going to get a farther range on pedal assist than throttle. The pedal assist range also depends on the level of pedal assist. So if you're in level one, you're going to go farther than if you're in level five. So you really have to gauge what are you trying to accomplish on your ride. How far do you want to go? How much assistance do you want from the trike? All of those play in. With the full throttle, you're going to get anywhere from 10 to 30 miles of range. I, personally, at 215 pounds, have ridden this and I got over 20 miles of range.

Check out the video. It's on our YouTube channel. You can see how my ride went with using throttle only. One thing I mentioned is, you can ride this like a normal tricycle. The beauty is, you have three modes. That's why I think all seniors should know about this. You maybe weren't in the market for an electric trike, to begin with, but this is going to expand the possibilities, and you can still ride it like a normal tricycle. So, if you so choose, you could remove this battery. That's going to reduce the weight by eight pounds.

Even with the battery on, look how easy it is for me to pedal. It rides just like a normal trike. The weight difference, you're not going to notice hardly at all, especially on flat ground. So, that option is always there for you. The beauty is, you have the motor. I'm going to go ahead and put it on, and now this is where everything becomes possible. I can go into pedal assist, and now I can hit speeds. I'm already up to 10 miles an hour, and I can brake on a dime. I'll show you that.

So the speed, the amount you can carry, the distance you can go. All those things increase. Now, watch the braking power. We have brakes that provide ample braking power. It's completely safe. Check this out, let's say you just want to let the bike do the work, just hit the throttle. Just like that, doing nothing. Here I go. Even for me, 215 pounds, I can do this straight away. Again, I can hit the brakes, and come back. Look how nimble too. You can shoot through the cones here, and I come to a complete stop.

Lastly is this rear basket. Again, we've had up to 800 pounds back here. You can put anything you want in there, and take it with you for going to the pool, the beach, tennis, pickle ball, golf, grocery store, you name it. This is now your second form of transportation, or maybe your first. Depending on how far you need to go, and where you're going, use this for your 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-mile trips. Again, we have a video showing a group doing 10 miles on the e-trike. So this thing can really expand the possibilities and improve lives.

So this is the one tricycle I think all seniors should know about. If you have any other questions about it, please comment below or email us at team@sixthreezero.com, or call us, at (310) 982-2877. In addition, you can find the Sixthreezero Every Journey electric trike on our website, sixthirtyzero.com under the e-bikes tricycle. We have a 90-day test ride on your e-bike policy. If you don't love it within 90 days, send it back, no questions asked, no money out of your pocket. If you don't know what you're looking for, take our proprietary body fit quiz on our website, and answer a few questions about your body and your life. Our algorithm will recommend the perfect e-trike, e-bike, or bike for you.

Lastly, be a part of our community Facebook Pedalers group and download our app. Great place to go before you have a bike. You can ask questions, see how others are riding, see firsthand how this bike's being used out in the wild, and also see people tracking rides on here, so you can see firsthand experiences with actual riders. Then after you have your bike, track your rides on the app, and compete on the leaderboard. It's tons of fun. Also, you can make a lot of new friends in the Pedalers group, and post photos. Trust me, it's worthwhile. Thank you for sticking around and don't forget, it's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride.
