Thank You for Your ERickshaw Pre-Order!

Hey, everyone. I'm Dustin, CEO of sixthreezero. I just wanted to say thank you for your pre-order of the E-Bike Rickshaw, which we have right here, our passenger-seat tricycle. I know we've had a couple of delays along the way, but we are expecting these to arrive any day now, and we're going to get them shipped out to you ASAP.

Now, I know a lot of questions have arisen about the assembly and what's going to go into that. As soon as they land here, we are going to make assembly videos the same day and get those to you before the tricycle arrives so you can be prepped and ready to do the assembly yourself. Now, one thing I do want to say is when this arrives, it is going to be a very large box and it's going to come on a pallet via freight. So it's not going to come via FedEx or UPS. It's going to come via a trucking company. And most of this tricycle is going to be fully assembled. So the rear seat will not be attached, but the rear wheels, the back axle, all this in the middle, this is all going to be assembled.

So actually just to get up and ride, you can do that pretty quickly. You're going to have to put the front wheel on, install the pedals, the seat, and the handlebars, and then you're going to have a trike that's going to be up and ready for you to take a ride. Now, like I said, you'll have to put the rear seat on. That's just four bolts you're going to have to tighten down. Now, it takes a little bit of effort to get those tight to make sure that's secure. You have to tighten in the axle nuts here. Putting in the seat, and the handlebars, and tightening the pedals is a pretty easy process. And again, we're going to make that video once we get them here, and it's going to be very detailed and you'll be able to see the step-by-step process. But everything else, the gears, the electronics, that's going to be all up and working.

Now, the disc brakes may require some micro adjustments after you put the wheel on. Now, it's important. If you feel like the brakes are not responsive, we highly recommend that you take it to a professional to get the brakes adjusted. Especially if you're carrying precious cargo on the back, passengers, and you want to ensure that these brakes work, make sure that either you do it properly or you take it to a professional to have those brakes properly tuned.

The gears should be pre-tuned straight from the factory, so as you shift through, you should be able to get into 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Now, one thing I will say with disc brakes and with the gears on a bicycle, will not stay in tune forever. So depending on the type of riding you do, if you hit a lot of bumps, things like that, over the course of the ownership of any bicycle, including this E-Rickshaw, you may need to have the brakes periodically adjusted.

Also, very important, the disc brake pad on this bike is something you're going to want to check about every hundred miles if you're riding that frequently, especially again, if you have heavier loads. Because the more you're braking with more weight on here, the quicker it's going to wear down those pads. So it's very, very important that you check those, again, about every hundred miles, but there's no harm in just glancing down there. You can take a peak right in here and just see what the pads look like. If they look worn down, you're going to feel the brakes getting less and less responsive over time.

So that's about it. Again, more details to follow. I just wanted to say thank you again for your pre-order. You're going to have so much fun on this Rickshaw. I have one at home. I've been using it for a few years now because we've had this in the development process now for about three to four years. Unfortunately, COVID slowed up our bringing it to market, but my children love it, and my friends love it. We had a great time on it, so I'm excited for all of you to get in the saddle and take this for a ride.
