E-Bikes & Bikes Customised to You
August 31, 2021
Hi guys. It's Alanna here from sixthreezero. Today we're going to do a walkthrough of our new app, sixthreezero Pedaling. So if you follow us on social media, you've definitely heard of our app by now. We just released it and it's pretty cool. So we're going to walk you through some of the features and how you can sign up.
So the app is available in the Google Play Store and in the Apple Store. So if you have an android or Apple device, you can download it and the links will be in the bio below. And once you download it, it will give you a little bit of information. You can just swipe through that and then you'll be prompted to log in or create an account if you don't have one. So if you've purchased a bike from us online, then you're going to want to use the same login info that you have for our website. So if you registered your bike or if you've checked your tracking number or order progress or anything like that, then you probably have an account.
So try that login. If you're getting an error message, then use the same email address that you use, but just reset your password. That is an issue that a few people have been encountering and this will fix it. So you just need to reset your password, but I would suggest sticking to the same login. So if you've never used our website before, definitely don't have a login, then you can create a new account. So you'll just tap on create a new account. You'll be prompted to enter your email address and password. And then from there, you can choose your Pedaler name and that can be anything you want. And then after that, you'll be asked if you want to turn in on-location services. So when you track a ride it shows a map of your route that you biked. So if you want that option, then you do want to turn in on-location services.
So after that, you will be taken to the home screen where you can see that you can start a ride. You can view your streaks, your bike achievements, and recent rides on the bottom. If you tap, there's a menu bar at the bottom, so starting on the left, we have the home icon. And after that is the leaderboard. And this is the fun part. So every week we are giving away a different prize to the number one spot on the leaderboard. And the way we're doing it is the week starts Monday and ends Sunday, so you have through the weekend to log those miles. But here on the leaderboard, you can see all of the riders that are registered and see how you rank among them. So right now, when I'm looking at it, this is Thursday, Tamitha has 238 miles logged, she's in the first place so far.
But that's for the week, you can also look at the monthly leaderboard, yearly and set up your own custom. So if you have a friend that you want to compete with, that's a good way to track your rides. Next on the menu is the start a ride option. So if you click on that, you can go ahead and start a ride and that will log your speed, the time ridden and the distance covered, as well as the map that I talked about earlier. And you can also start a ride from the homepage. Next to that is your activity and achievements. So in the activity log, you can see all your past rides. It'll show you the date of your ride, how long it was, and the city or area that you wrote in. So a lot of mines are Los Angeles or West Hollywood, and I can see like, oh, my last ride was yesterday or four days ago, et cetera.
And then on the top, you can swipe over to achievements and we have numerous achievements to earn, and we're coming out with more achievements and challenges in the weeks to come as well. So you will be assigned a level. Right now I'm level four for having biked 36 miles total. And to get to level five, I have to complete 20 miles. So it'll be different for every level. And you can also see your streaks. So your daily streaks, how many days consistently you've biked, your weekly streaks, and your monthly streaks. And you earn those concurrently as you continue to ride. You can also see your personal records, so your farthest ride and your longest ride. And then a number of milestones that you can earn. So a total distance covered milestone, there's total time as well. And then there are different benchmarks to earn. So right now, for example, I'm at 20 miles.
And then my next milestone that I could earn would be at 50 miles. So that's pretty neat. And then the last option is just your account information where you can change your username or your email address and log out if you need to. So that's an overview of our app. Make sure to download it. It's a lot of fun. It's really motivating to see the other Pedalers on the leaderboard. And it's really pushed me to get out on my bike more. And I use my bike often for a lot of small errands, but now I'm really vigilant about logging each one because I want to get up on that leaderboard. Right now I'm 76, which is pretty sad. So I definitely have some biking to do. But it's a really great motivating factor, especially if you're trying to build a new biking habit, you want biking to be part of your routine or your workout, something that you want to do more consistently, this is really going to help motivate you.
So download the app, make sure you're following us on Facebook, Instagram, subscribe here on YouTube, because like I said, we are giving away different prizes every week for the leaderboard winner and we'll be notifying the winners on all of our social channels. So keep an eye out for that. So have fun with it. It's a really neat app. It's great to be able to look at your numbers and see your progress. And let us know if you have any suggestions. Of course, if you encounter any issues, definitely send us an email or message us on Facebook or Instagram. We'll try to get back to you ASAP. But it is new, so we are still working through some kinks and we hope to be adding a lot more features in the coming days and months. So thanks for watching. Don't forget, it's your journey, your experience. Enjoy the ride.
