Reverse on an ETrike! Why It's a Great Feature to Have! Electric Tricycles w/ Reverse Are a Must!

Why is reverse on an e-trike a great feature to have? Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today, we're going to talk about why a reverse feature on an e-trike is such a great feature to have. I've got two e-trikes from Sixthreezero, the Easy Transit foldable 750-watt e-trike and the Simple Glide 750-watt fat tire e-trike. Now, when you park an e-bike or a bike in a bike rack, you know, it... It is a lot easier to wheel it in and out of that position, right? With a trike, especially the Simple Glide that's a little bit heavier, it may not be as easy for someone to wheel it, you know, out or back or park it. So if you park it in a certain position, let me go ahead and get on here, right? If you park it in a certain position and you don't have the strength to wheel it out yourself, having the reverse now allows you to back out, right? And just like a car, you can put it in reverse, and then from here.

So, this makes it easy to park, maneuver, and get in and out of certain spots. Also, if you want to ride this into an elevator or in a store or an office building, you can navigate different turns, elevators in particular, right? If you want to back into the elevator so you can drive out, that option is available as well.Now, the Easy Transit is a little bit more compact and easy to maneuver. Well, let's take the Simple Glide, for instance, as well. If this is something that you pull up and park in a rack, or if you have to park it against a wall. Right. And it's cumbersome to get there and kind of move it out. Now, with the reverse, you just sit down. We power this on, and when you have that coupled with the throttle, you can just go like that and you're off and riding.

So it's one of those features where if you are really utilizing an e-trike as a mobility device or even for parking it, having that reverse function, it is nice, makes it easier, and makes it a little less stressful. Like I've always said, if it's stressful or hard to use or mount or dismount your e-trike, you're probably gonna use it a lot less. So knowing you have that reverse option is gonna give you peace of mind in certain circumstances, just to make the riding that much easier and more enjoyable.
