Today, I'm going to show you the perfect electric tricycle for seniors with back support. All right, so right here, I've got the Simple Glide electric recumbent tricycle. We've got a 500-watt version and a 750-watt version. Now, what you're probably noticing right away is this office chair-style seat that provides incredible back support when you're out riding. Now you can see that when you sit down, my back is fully supported, and there's also lumbar support here to give my lower back additional support. You can also buy an aftermarket headrest to give your head additional support, and you can rest your arms on the armrests. You can easily adjust the handlebars so you can bring them closer or farther from your body. Just alleviates all that back pain so you can relax, you can pedal, or if you don't want to pedal, you can use the throttle to make the trike go without you pedaling at all.

Now, if you do choose to pedal, you have five levels of assistance that the motor can give you, one being the least and five being the most. So you can do as much or as little of the work as you so choose. You can also travel up to 50 miles with the battery on both of these. So this can turn into your all-purpose mobility vehicle, run errands, get exercise, you name it. You can see you have the front basket here to bring belongings with you or pick up things along the way. It has mechanical disc brakes that stop quickly and easily when you're out for rides. So you don't have to worry about even going downhill. The brakes will kick in quickly once you pull the lever. From there, you can also slide the seat forward and backward to find the perfect seating position for you. So you can slide this in depending on how tall you are. You'll be able to find the right position for your legs, and you also see that it's a recumbent design.

So you're pedaling in front of your body. This is an incredibly stable design. The 750-watt has four-inch wide tires that make it even more incredibly stable and also able to take on off-road trails. If you like to ride through nature, hard pack trails, you name it, you can do it on the four-inch wide version here. Now the big difference between the two of these, 500 watts has a top speed of about 16 miles an hour, 17, this has a top speed of about 18 or 19. If you're a heavier rider, you may want to opt for the 750-watt. Riders under about 210 pounds can also be fine on the 500-watt. So if you need that back support, this is a great option for you.
