My ETrike is How I Get Around: I Don't Drive & I Can't Ride a Bike; Why I Love my Electric Tricycle!

Interviewer: So, why did you get the tricycle?

Interviewee: I got it because my husband rides a bike, and I don't know how! I needed something that would help me balance, and I found this electric tricycle online. It just looked nice, so I decided to go with it.

Interviewer: What stood out to you about it?

Interviewee: It's really pretty! I like the shape, and it folds up, which is great for storage since we only have one garage spot. Plus, I love the color.

Interviewer: That's great! How has the tricycle impacted your life? What have you been using it for?

Interviewee: I take it all over the city with my husband to different festivals on the weekends. I use it to go to my chiropractor, the grocery store, and even the gym.

Interviewer: Compared to a regular bicycle, or even something like a Segway, how has this changed things for you?

Interviewee: I feel much more balanced, stable, and safer on the tricycle. I don't feel as jittery. And I can ride it for a longer distance than I ever could on a Segway.

Interviewer: What about storage? How much can you carry with it?

Interviewee: Oh, it's great for hauling things! It's perfect for the farmer's market. We can carry all our groceries in the baskets. We even took it to a picnic and carried everything we needed. My favorite thing is that I get to ride around the city with my husband.

Interviewer: What's your favorite feature of the tricycle? What makes it stand out?

Interviewee: Definitely how stable it is. I feel really safe on it. I don't know how to ride a bike, and I don't drive a car, so this is my way of getting around without just walking or relying on public transportation.

Interviewer: On a scale of zero to ten, with zero being hard and ten being easy, how easy is it to ride?

Interviewee: I'd say an eight or nine.

Interviewer: Were you able to ride it the first time you got on it?

Interviewee: Yes.

Interviewer: Have you crashed yet?

Interviewee: No, no crashes!

Interviewer: How is it different from riding a regular bike?

Interviewee: I've never really ridden a regular bike properly. Well, I tried once, but it was terrifying because I didn't have any control. This one is different because it's balanced.

Interviewer: Right, because it's balanced. How far have you ridden on one charge?

Interviewee: Okay…
