Kids Going Wild Over This Electric Rickshaw Bike! | Ebike Rickshaw Is So Much Fun

Dustin: Hey, everyone. Dustin here. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today, I'm going to show you Sixthreezero electric trike, and I'm going to take my kids, Dillon, seven, who's 65 pounds, and my little-

Dillon: And I dance.

Dustin: ... My middle boy here, who's four, weighs 45 pounds. They're getting suited up. It's on backward, bud.

Trey: Oh.

Dustin: Turn it the other way. There you go. So you can see there, he's already in his seat, comfortable on the tricycle.

Dillon: Oh my god, so comfortable. You want to like sleep in this.

Dustin: Okay.

Dillon: Even though it's my dad's. Like and subscribe.

Dustin: Okay, so they're going to get suited up, and can you put the seatbelt on, Dil?

Dillon: Yeah, but first I need to put my...

Dustin: All right, so the electric trike, you've got-

Trey: I don't know how to put this on.

Dustin: Okay, here. We got to unbuckle it for you, okay?

Dillon: Okay, so we're going to put the seatbelt right through-

Dustin: Okay, hold on one second. Hold on.

Dillon: ... your arm. [inaudible 00:01:05]

Dustin: Hold on one second.

Dillon: Okay. [inaudible 00:01:06]

Dustin: Okay, can you put that on?

Dillon: Okay, so then you're going to grab the buckle on the side.

Dustin: Okay, Dil, wait one second. Okay. She's got it all strapped in. Is it nice and tight?

Trey: Ow, ow, Dillon.

Dillon: [inaudible 00:01:19]

Trey: Ow, Dillon, Dillon.

Dustin: Okay. You're okay.

Trey: [inaudible 00:01:23]

Dustin: Do you need help, or have you got it?

Trey: I need help.

Dustin: Okay, let me buckle it for you. Pick your head up. Okay. Okay, we've got our helmets on now, and-

Dillon: Let's go ride.

Dustin: ... we're all strapped in, so 750-watt front hub motor. We've got 100 pounds in the back. I'm 215, so we'll be at about 315 pounds. You could do 500 pounds capacity on here. 21-amp, 48-volt battery. It's going to last a while.

Dillon: Yeah, probably a while, but probably like two or three days.

Dustin: Dillon doesn't know what she's talking about, but more than two or three days, depending on how much you ride.

Dillon: [inaudible 00:02:10]

Dustin: So we got half a battery. Okay. Now, let me get my helmet on. Can you hold this on me while I put my helmet on? Don't push the screen, please. Okay, thank you. Okay, can you hold it just like that while I drive?

Dillon: Yeah.

Dustin: Okay, let me show them a couple of things. Well, I got it turned on. I have my throttle right here. Okay, Dillon's going to hold the camera while we ride.

Dillon: Can I like show them the field up there?

Dustin: Try to show... You can show me going, and what can they see?

Dillon: Like there.

Dustin: Can you show me in front too, as I'm driving?

Dillon: A little bit.

Dustin: Okay, how is it back there, Trey?

Dillon: I can't-

Dustin: Trey, are you comfortable?

Dillon: [inaudible 00:02:58]

Dustin: Okay, let me see. All right, I'll try to take you with us a little bit. All righty, so I'm just cruising down right now, and I'm going to go ahead and see if I can... Can you guys see it? Where are you? Trey, B, are you all good?

Dillon: Trey is closing his eyes.

Dustin: He's enjoying the breeze. All righty. Super easy to steer. There they are. Trey, look.

Dillon: Trey.

Dustin: Say hi.

Dillon: Hi.

Dustin: All right, we're going down a big hill right now. Got disc brakes on the front and the rear. You've got two rear disc brakes, so nice and powerful. And we're just going to go to a little park.

Dillon: What park are we going to go to?

Dustin: Just the one by the pool.

Dillon: [inaudible 00:04:07] in the world.

Trey: Yeah, and we can make [inaudible 00:04:14]

Dillon: Yeah.

Dustin: So we got miles per hour here, battery juice.

Trey: [inaudible 00:04:21] in the trees.

Dustin: All right. I'm going to-

Trey: [inaudible 00:04:26]

Dustin: Let's see, now we're going to cross a busy road here. Let's go ahead and steer, and I'm just using pedal assist right now. Okay.

Trey: [inaudible 00:04:43]

Dustin: And we can easily fit in the width of the bike lane. All right. Keep in mind too, I'm steering with one hand right now, which I wouldn't always recommend, but nimble enough to even steer with one hand. Click it into level five. Now you can see we got a little hill right here. No problem with the weight on the back. What, Trey? Faster?

Trey: [inaudible 00:05:23]

Dustin: Okay, here we go, here we go. Need to shift the gears. There we go.

Trey: Whoa, they can go so fast.

Dillon: Because it's a car, and a car is faster than a bike.

Dustin: Level four.

Trey: The bike is really slow, but they're so fast. There's the park.

Dustin: There's the park.

Trey: That's the tiniest park.

Dustin: Okay. Now here's the cool thing.

Trey: [inaudible 00:05:59]

Dillon: And by the way, this park is very [inaudible 00:06:05] we were probably a little younger [inaudible 00:06:09]

Dustin: We can fit through this sidewalk. Show you this. That's the cool thing is, you can drive this right up to anywhere.

Dillon: [inaudible 00:06:18]

Dustin: Don't get off yet, okay? I'm going to show them. Okay, we're going to stop right here. I'm going to turn the power off. Okay, show us how you get off. Can you unbuckle him?

Dillon: You unbuckle, you... I would say take off your helmet.

Dustin: You can get off with your helmet if you want.

Dillon: I would put them on the seat.

Trey: And you can take it off like that.

Dillon: I put them on the seat.

Trey: [inaudible 00:06:51]

Dillon: Oh!

Dustin: That's fine.

Dillon: Not a good idea. I'm going to go grab it. And then you just... It's easier if you [inaudible 00:06:58]

Dustin: Okay, go ahead and play.

Dillon: ... like my age, or like my height, because like-

Trey: [inaudible 00:07:01] trees.

Dillon: If you can just step down, you're there. I'm going to go.

Dustin: You're right.

Dillon: I'm going to go play now.

Dustin: Cool. So it's cool. It's easy. Kids love it, especially because they can just get on themselves, and then-

Dillon: [inaudible 00:07:17] just for like climbing. [inaudible 00:07:18]

Dustin: ... they can get down easily with the step here, and the seatbelt. It's, I feel, just safer than two-wheeled versions because you've got the balance of the two wheels in the back here. And yeah, parks easily. You can take it on the sidewalks, or park it just where you'd park a bike, and super easy to ride, and super fun. I love it. We're always taking trips. Got the pool right here too, so if we wanted to hit the pool up, we could do that. So there you have it. Thanks for watching. That's the Sixthreezero electric rickshaw.
