The first four-wheel e-bike of its kind. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today I'm gonna show you the AnyTerrain e-bike, a four-wheel e-bike, the first of its kind. All right. Like I said, this is the AnyTerrain four-wheel electric bike. This thing is super cool and a lot of fun to ride, and it's the first of its kind. Now, you can tell by looking at it. It's got four wheels. The front wheels are 16 inches by four inches, and the rear wheels are 20 inches by four inches. Now, this has it angling forward a little bit, and there's a reason for that, to create more stability, to put a little more weight down on these two front wheels, because the front steering system has a system where one wheel goes up, the other goes down, and they tilt. Now, this allows this four-wheel bike to be super stable, and a lot of fun to ride. I'm going to take it for a little bit of a demo here in a few minutes.
Also, on our YouTube channel, we've got lots of other videos where we take this out for a ride, and you can see how it performs out there. Now, it's a 750-watt rear-mounted motor. The motor is down here, and it's got five levels of assistance you can engage. There are two ways to utilize the motor. One is when you pedal, you can have the motor assists you. Or you can press a throttle located by your left thumb, and the e-bike can go without you pedaling at all. So really cool if you want to get out there, rest your legs on a ride, or if you like the idea of a four-wheel e-bike for the stability, but maybe you were scared about taking it up hills. Now, with the electric assist, it's going to make those hills much easier. The battery is a 20-amp-hour battery, so you're going to get up to 50 miles of power from the electric assist on a given ride. It depends on the type of terrain you're riding, the weight of the rider, and how you utilize the electric assist while you're riding.
If you're using the throttle a lot, you're gonna drain the battery more than if you're just utilizing the pedal assist. Now, there are four, there are fenders available for all four tires. We don't have them on in the front right now. We opted to take them off when we did a little test riding off-road. But we have those available. Those can be mounted on there. You've got hydraulic disc brakes that stop this thing smoothly and easily with the pull of the levers up here. Front and rear tail lights. You've got this extra cargo space up here. Front basket. You also have a very big rear basket here. Put your belongings on there. And the cool thing is, with four wheels, put your cargo in there. It doesn't affect the ride for you, right? It's going to stay nice and balanced. You can also replace this cargo basket with a seat if you so choose. That option is available as well. You also have a reverse option on here, and I'll show you that in a second, where you can engage the reverse and pedal. So if you park this somewhere against a wall or in a rack space and you can't, you have to get it out. Instead of having to pull it out yourself, you can get on, use the reverse feature. So that's cool.
So let me turn this towards you here. Let me disengage the parking brake. Now there is a parking brake as well, so it won't roll away on you. And let me show you. Okay, so now that you see it straight on, you can see here that, let me just show you, if the bike leans this way, the wheels are gonna lean. Now I've picked up the rear tire here, but just to show you, the front tires, always one wheel is going, or both wheels are always going to stay down on the ground. So when you're taking turns and whatnot or going over bumps, the front wheels, you're never going to have one wheel lifting off the ground. You're always going to have both of these on the ground. And that's cool because, like I said, if you're going over, let's say, bumps and things, you're going to see If this wheel is going over a big bump, it's going to go up, and that other wheel will stay down. So it makes turning and balancing very simple and very smooth. And, you know, it feels different than three-wheel bikes, right? So, a lot of the risk of tipping is eliminated.
And it's very simple to steer with the steering system. I'm going to give you a quick demonstration. I'm not going to put my helmet on because I'm going to keep it very slow. And in a close range right here. You have a horn. You also have blinkers in the back, so you can notify people of what you're doing. There's a switch right here that indicates the reverse. I'm going to flip that. Then I can just press the throttle. Now, you can utilize the throttle to go backward, but you still have to move your feet. The pedals will still turn as you're going backward, so you can toggle between them very easily. And like I said, it's a push throttle with your thumb up here. So I'm just going to press that and it can move forward, or you can toggle back, and I can go backwards. So you can very easily go forward. And like I said, you can easily use the throttle, and you can start moving. You can see it takes off pretty quick or I can back down my assistance level and just pedal, and then the motor will kick in. And you can see how tight of turns I can do on this while still staying balanced. And it's cool, it's easy to steer and it requires, honestly, less balancing than a three-wheel so if you are someone that, you know, is looking at a bike or a trike but you haven't liked the idea of a three-wheel having the four wheels is nice and it steers quite easy. Let me go ahead and park it. Now you overshoot your parking space. Just go ahead and flip the reverse on. Oh, don't forget these hydraulic brakes grip. And let me just flip that to drive, and then you can just power it off. And then up here is your parking brake. And you get off, and there you go.
So much fun. So easy to ride. And if you want to see other rides that I take this out on, go to our YouTube channel and check out the different types of terrains I've taken it on.
