How an electric bike will change your life. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Now, I know that sounds like a very big statement to say that an electric bike can change your life, but I truly believe that to be true. Now, e-bikes are becoming hugely popular all across the world and in the United States, and I'm witnessing firsthand the stories we're hearing from our riders about how they've changed their lives. And let me point out a couple of the ways they are changing lives. Now, first and foremost, it's getting many people in the saddle of two-wheel bikes that weren't previously. Electric bikes have inspired so many riders to get out there and ride. Now, I know a lot of people feel like, oh, e-bikes are cheating. It's not riding a bike. That's not true. An electric bike, if used as an electric bike, is there to assist you and help you pedal. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, especially because of how it's impacted so many people. Many people have been scared to get back on a standard bike because they're worried about their leg strength, or they don't want to take on some large hills they have by their house.

Maybe they have to go down a big hill to get to paths and going back up is very strenuous. With the electric assist now, people can tackle those large hills that may be in the terrain nearby but also do pedaling once they get into flat ground. So it's getting more people out and overall getting more people exercise. The other thing is that if you're physically limited in any way, shape, or form, whether that's arthritis or even just kind of muscle atrophy or, you know, any other kind of disability that maybe hinders your strength, flexibility that has prevented you from riding a bike because you're not able to power it on your own. Now, with the assistance of an e-bike, you can get out there and ride like you could ride before whatever condition you have now you're dealing with. So it's impacted so many lives because of that. And I'm seeing it. And if you're someone on the fence about getting an electric bike, I can't say with enough enthusiasm you should do it because once you have it, you're going to experience so much fun and so much joy. Also, the other benefit is many e-bikes have a throttle. Now, I know a lot of people don't like that because they think a throttle is cheating or then it's not truly a bike. But here's the thing. If you get tired on your rides, you can use the throttle and you can pedal when you want. So it's a good way to keep the rides exciting. This is what I found with a lot of people who are excited to get onto their e-bike because of all the possibilities that you can do with it. The other cool thing is, is now that you have the electrical assist, your e-bike becomes a true mode of transportation. You can get places faster than on a standard bike and you can carry more weight and bring more things with you because of the larger motor. So or because of having an electric assist motor. So I am 100% certain it will change your life. The other thing it will do is it'll decrease the amount of time you're going to spend in the car and you can replace those short-range trips that are under five miles, which is not only going to save you money, but it's going to get you to exercise and allow you to enjoy the outdoors so much more so.
