Folding 20-inch, fat tire E-bike. We're going to do a review and take you on a test drive. Stick around. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today I'm going to show you the sixthreezero Easy Transit, 20-inch, fat tire, folding e-bike, and we're going to take you on a little test drive. Now before we get into it, hit the subscribe button below, and stay in touch with us here at sixthreezero. Be the first to know about all the new content we're putting out, giveaways we do, and of course new product releases. All right, so this is the Easy Transit from sixthreezero with 20-inch fat tires and it also folds. You can find this linked in the description below to see it on our website at sixthreezero.com. This is an awesome electric bike that is so much fun.
Now a couple of the key features, it has a 750-watt, rear hub motor, and a 48-volt, 15-amp hour battery. What does that mean? It means for riders up to 350 pounds, this is going to power you up hills and up to 20 miles an hour on flat ground as well. You have the option of a twist throttle here or pedal assist, and you have five levels of pedal assist, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. This thing has a lot of power and it is tons of fun. If you've got a lot of hills in your area and you need that power to get up, this is a great option. There's also a navy color that we don't have shown here, and you can find that on our website as well. Now in addition to that, it folds up small and you can see the handlebars fold down right here. It also folds in the middle right here, and I'll just show you quickly. You just unlock it right here, fold it in half and you can transport it. If you want to see another video on this where we fold it down and fit two of them side by side in a hatchback, check that out on our YouTube channel. We'll also link that in the description if you want to see that as well.
Now today I just want to take you on a little ride we're going to do some hills, and I want to show you that I'm 225 pounds and I want to show you how easily this powers me up the hills as well. Real quick, front and rear disc brakes stop on a dime. You have a full display up here. You have your pedal assist levels right here. Again, check out the other videos on our channel for the sixthreezero Easy Transit. We do a full tour of the bike so you can see everything. I'm going to get my helmet on and we're going to take you on the test ride.
Okay, I'm all mounted up and ready to ride. Now you can see here we've got our power button right here to turn the display on. From here I can choose my pedal assist level. I've got my twist throttle right here. We can go ahead and take a ride. Ready? I'm going to twist my throttle and we're off and running or I can pedal. Now you can see I barely pedal and we get lots of power. You may hear a little bit of squeaking. That's typical with disc brakes as they work themselves in a little bit. We're going to come up a hill here and I'm going to show you how easy it's going to be for me to get up this hill. The riding position is pretty comfortable. It's nice with the straight bar handlebars. You gave really good steering. Okay?
I'm just going to, now again, I'm 225 pounds, first time I'm going to put it in five and I'm just going to go throttle the whole way. Okay? For those of you at home, it might not transfer in terms of the grade, but it's a fairly decent grade here. I mean, I would guess 5, 6% and it's decently long. Let's wait for traffic to clear and I'm off and running. Here we go. No pedaling, just throttle. On the downward here, I just hit 26 miles an hour. Use the brake, stop, no problem. If you could see me all the way up, I didn't pedal at all. I just used the throttle.
Now let's try going back up, but I'm going to pedal. You'll see how much faster it is. Now always be safe. Check both ways. Here we go. I don't know if it looked fast, but I just hit 29 miles an hour on the downhill there. I'm going to go ahead and get out of the street and the brakes work. No problem. If you could see how much quicker I got up the hill when I used the pedal assist. The other thing I was going to point out, if you are over 250 pounds in the 250 to 350 range, even with the 750 watts, you're going to have to put some effort into the pedal assist. Obviously, the higher the weight or the load, the more strain on the motor and the more effort the rider needs to put in.
Now, I was able to just use the throttle to get me up at 225 pounds. I would estimate 250 would be about the max on this hill to just use the throttle. Your speed's going to slow down significantly. But you can see when I go into pedal assist, I'm flying up the hill. There it is, the zip and folds from sixthreezero. It's a lot of fun, so much power, and easy to ride. Check out the other videos on our channel and if you have any other questions at all, comment below or email us at theteam@sixthreezero.com or call us at (310) 982-2877.
