EVRYjourney (Men) by Sixthreezero - Bicycle Review & Firsthand Inspection of The Bike

Hey everyone, Dustin here, CEO of SixThreeZero. Want to talk to you today about the Men's EVRYjourney touring cruiser hybrid bike. There's a lot of words that we put in there, adjectives to describe it. But I'll explain why in a second. I want to talk to you guys about what terrain, where's it good to ride this bike, also who is this bike best for. So, let's jump in. The EVRYjourney bike is 100% geared towards comfort. It's got great versatility. We label it the most comfortable bicycle ever and I truly stand behind that. Anybody that sits on this bike is going to think it's comfortable. Now we use a lot of words to describe it, touring cruiser hybrid, because it's all of those things. It's a very unique bike and it's the most popular bike in the SixThreeZero lineup. So, who's the bike good for? Back to that. I would say whoever is focused on comfort, number one with their ride.

This is the right bike for you. In terms of terrain, I would say if your primary location of riding is paved surfaces, this is the right bike for you. Now, this bike can be written on hardpack trails, but the ideal scenario is paved. And if it's hard-packed, I'd recommend very, hard-packed, like a smooth clean dirt or light gravel trail going somewhere, that's okay. But again, paved surfaces are the best. So what kind of rider is it good for? A couple of specific niches of riders, if you haven't ridden a bike in say 5, 10, 15, 20 years, this is a great option. If you're beginning to ride, this is a great option. This is a very simple comfortable bike that is easy to get on and off. It has a very unique riding position that keeps riders at a low center of gravity and very close to the ground.

So if you were to lose your balance, you can put your feet flat on the ground, which on most bikes, you're up so high that you have to be on your tippy-toes to touch the ground. So it's a little bit more dangerous if you're not comfortable balancing on a bike. So if you've been away from a bike for a long time or you're just beginning to ride. Also, this bike tends to be very popular with riders 50 years old and over because of the low center of gravity and how much control you can have on it. And being able to get your feet flat to the ground when stopping while still getting ample leg extension when riding, it's very popular in the 50 to 80-year-old age range. But in addition to that, it's great for riders that want to ride around town.

Because of how versatile it is, it can still take you 5, 10, 15 miles. And because of all the speed options, 1, 3, 7, and 21, you can use it for exercise or commuting or things like that. Now, if you're more focused on commuting or exercise, those are your main focuses, we have some other better options, like the Explore Your Range or the Reach Your Destination, or the Pave n' Trail. But if you're really a versatile rider and you want something that can get you to a lot of places, but you, really, really want to be comfortable, this is the bike for you. The riding position is super comfortable. It's got tires wide enough to absorb the shock and it also has a very wide seat, which is going to cradle your rear and be very comfortable. So let me point out a couple of features. As I said, you can see the tires here.

Now, these are sort of a medium-high thickness that's so that, number one, they'll absorb the shock when you're riding over bumps and things like that. Again, rider comfort is number one on this bike. We don't want your body to feel the vibration. We want the tires to absorb the vibration. The tires are still a little thinner than a traditional cruiser and they're thinner than the Around the Block, and that is so that this bike can be a little bit more versatile on paved surfaces. It can go a little faster, roll a little bit easier, and that's what makes it a little different than a traditional cruiser. Still more versatile. Still can get speeds. Now, looking back here. At the seat, you obviously have our patented extra-wide comfort saddle. This is going to cradle, this is super comfortable.

It's going to cradle the rear nice. It's not going to leave your sit bone in pain after a ride. So even if you ride 10, 15, 20 miles, now you might be a little sore, but it's not going to be digging into the sit bone while some of the more performance seats do that. So again, comfort-minded in everything we did here. It features the front and rear fenders. Now, the distinguishing characteristic of the EVRYjourney and what makes the comfortable, the riding position, the upright riding position, the no tension on the arms, on the back, on the legs is this the unique down tube here. On a typical bike, you're going to see this down tube be straight up and down with the pedals falling directly below the seat. Well, in this situation, you've got the down tube angled about three to four inches forward and what that does is it places the pedals three to four inches in front of the rider's hips.

And what this does is allows the seat to be lower to the ground while the rider still gets ample leg extension when riding. This is what I talked about earlier. It's going to allow the rider to put their feet flat on the ground when stopped, but allow them to have proper leg extension when moving. In addition, if you look, we've got these curved ... the typical cruiser bars with this riding position, so it keeps the rider's arms back and the hands close to the body so you don't have to reach for the handlebar grips. There's no pressure tension on your shoulders, on your wrists, on your arms, on your knees, on your backs. If you have any pain in your body, if you're someone that has lower back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, this is a bike I'd recommend for you, especially if you still want to get out and ride 5, 10, 15 miles. It's going to take pressure off.

It's not going to leave you as sore as a more aggressive ride, something like our Pave n' Trail. So again, it's going to relieve that back pain. You're going to sit there. You're going to feel like this. You're going to get off the bike and not having known that you rode a bike.
