All right. So today, I'm going to do an electric tricycle review, showing you the top electric tricycles. All right. So today, I'm going to do an electric tricycle review of the EVRYjourney 250 watt electric tricycle, which we believe is the top electric tricycle on the market. All four of these are the same, with our color palette. So first thing in the review that I want to point out is this electric tricycle comes in four different in colorways. We have our cream with the burnt orange rims, our teal with the burgundy rims, our navy with the baby blue rims, and our matte black.
So number one, on this tricycle, it wins on style. You cannot find this color palette on any other electric tricycle or tricycle for that matter. In addition to that, we have a matching helmet for every colorway, the teal... Sorry. Cream, teal, navy, matte black. So, that's all part of our electric trike review.
Now, moving on. What makes this electric tricycle the top electric tricycle and what really makes it so special is, number one, the frame. If you're not familiar with our EVRYjourney bicycle, this is our number one selling frame for a few reasons. And number one is the forward pedaling design. So the pedals normally sit directly below the seat. In this case, it's moved forward three inches. What does this do? Allows the rider to be closer to the ground, but still get ample leg extension when riding. Now, let me point this out too. In addition to that, you have an easy step-through frame, so you can easily mount and dismount, slide your butt onto the seat, and now you're on the bike.
In addition to this frame is the absolutely perfect ergonomic riding position riders are placed in when on this tricycle. You can see, my back is totally upright. The swooping handlebars come into my body, which keeps my arms, shoulders, back in a relaxed position for the most comfortable possible riding position on a tricycle. The benefit is no pain. Ride for hours and don't feel pain.
In addition, you got the wide bucket saddle as well, which cups your rear, really is comfortable. You're not going to feel any digging or cutting into your leg on some of those other seats. This is the absolute primo comfort saddle. So when you talk about the EVRYjourney electric trike, you talk about comfort and this ergonomic riding position. Now you can easily dismount, pull your leg out, and no problem.
Now, the other huge benefit of this tricycle is the four custom adjustment points. Number one, tilt your seat how you like it. Number two, raise and lower it. Number three, raise and lower the handlebars. Number four, tilt the handlebar. Now, this is how you can get this bike perfectly adjusted to your body with these four custom adjustment points, which are proprietary to sixthreezero, a simple 13 or 14 millimeter for the tilting, a quick release, easy for the height, and an Allen key for the height of the handlebars or the tilt of the handlebars. It's so simple.
The other thing is, don't worry if this... You don't have to worry about when you purchase online if it's going to fit or not fit. These four custom adjustment points are going to allow any rider or body type to fit this. The beauty, also, with a tricycle, is because your feet don't have to be on the ground when you're stopped, riders 4'11" to 6'2" can ride this trike. So 4'11". Even if your feet can't touch, it's still okay that you're... 4'11" can ride this. Because when you're up, as long as you can reach those pedals, you're good to go. I would even go so far as to say 4'10" riders could also ride this as well. Because of these four adjustment points, the variance in heights that can ride this is so great. It's really unbelievable.
Now, moving on to the electrical and other bicycle elements of this bike, it's a seven-speed derailleur. It gives you so much capability. If you're doing pedal assist, or if you're riding without the motor, you have seven speeds. You can tackle hills, different terrains, or also get the speed going a little bit faster with the seven-speed. So that's true... Adds just more enjoyment to the overall experience. Also, if you're towing things in the back, or you have a larger load, you can go to a lower gear, like gear one, two, or three, and it'll be much easier to pedal. So the beauty of the seven speeds is really, really nice.
In addition, you have front and rear hand brakes. You have a front caliper with the brake pads and the rear drum brake. These provide more than enough ample stopping power with the 250-watt motor. Now, let's talk about what truly makes this bike so much fun. It's this front hub 250-watt motor, which makes riding super easy. The beauty of this bike, is also, the sixthreezero EVRYjourney electric trike, with three modes you can ride in. One, with pedal assist, two, throttle only, or three, like a normal bike. So you can have the option. If you just want to ride it without the electricity, go ahead and do that. If you want to use the throttle and not pedal at all, go ahead and do that. Or if you want a little assistance while you pedal, that option is there.
The range on this EVRYjourney trike is going to be anywhere from 10 to 20 miles if you just do the throttle and don't pedal at all, or 15 to 35 miles with pedal assist. When you talk about range with e-trikes or e-bikes, the range is going to vary greatly on a couple of factors. One, the weight of the rider, two, the terrain and conditions, and three, the load that you may or may not be carrying in your basket.
Rider weight has a big impact. I'm 220 pounds. Somebody who is 120 pounds is going to get more range out of the battery without a doubt because you're adding a hundred pounds of load to the bike, and the battery and motor have to bring that along. In addition, if you have a load in the back, that's going to affect the battery range as well. But generally speaking, 10 to 20 miles if you're just using the throttle or 15 to 35 miles in pedal-assist mode.
And when we talk about top speeds, top speed with just the throttle is going to be 15 to 17 miles an hour. With pedal assist, it's going to be 18 to 20 miles an hour. This also is affected by the rider's weight and the terrain, but those are general parameters. And at the end here, I'm going to do a little demo and take you through the full electric bike review and show you how this baby operates.
Last thing I want to show you is right here. You obviously have a big basket back here to bring things with you. Easy charging of the battery. All you do is pop the seat off right here. You have a key, turn that. Your battery is off. Now, you can take this off the bike if you want to ride this without electricity to lighten the load, which is going to make it a little easier to pedal. Or bring this with you, charge it when you're in the office, charge it in your bedroom. Whatever you want to do is totally up to you. And then, getting it back on is as simple as that. And you just slide your seat back on.
So simple charging, simple setup, simple to use. Another sixthreezero feature is having that really easy loading and unloading... Just adjusting the seat back there. Don't worry about that. Okay. Now let me throw my helmet on here, get mounted on the trike, and show you how this baby operates.
Okay. So I'm mounted up, ready to go. And just right here, you turn your screen on. This is where everything's going to show you your battery life, your miles per hour, and also the level of assistance you're using. So I just want to show you real quick. I'm going to turn this off, and I'm going to show you how easy it is. Now, I'm in seventh gear, so it's a little bit harder for me to get going here, but let me shift. There. Now, I'm in second. I can pedal easily. So I'm pedaling right now without any electricity.
So in reviewing this trike, it's easy. That's a great thing about the sixthreezero trikes. Very easy to pedal without any electric assistance, because the frame is an alloy frame, so it's as light as it can be for a trike. Now, some trikes can be really heavy, but this one, you could use this as a normal trike and you wouldn't feel that much of a difference between this electric trike and a standard trike in terms of how easy it is is to pedal.
Now, I'm going to go ahead and turn on the monitor here. And the beauty of this one is you have the five levels of assistance, and we can just go ahead and show you. Now I start pedaling, and the motor kicks in, and it's a very smooth ride. It's not jerky. The assistance doesn't feel jerky. It feels smooth and easy, which is a huge, huge benefit of the sixthreezero e-cruise configurations, which is smoother than a lot of the trikes that are on the market.
Now, lastly, I'm going to put it into full throttle. I'm not going to pedal at all. You can see how simple that is. And again, the throttle on the sixthreezero EVRYjourney is very simple. And it's not jerky. It's easy. You can feel like you have complete control. And it's just very easy to maneuver. Such a huge benefit, which makes this the top electric tricycle out there. So I can easily just turn back in and come to a complete stop. And there you have it. That completes my review of the EVRYjourney electric 250-watt tricycle. Definitely the top electric tricycle on the market.
