ELECTRIC TRICYCLE for Heavy Adults! OVER 200lbs You Need This! Smallest, Lightest, Powerful ETrike

Hey, everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to show you an electric tricycle that's great for heavier riders. Stick around.

All right, so today I'm going to show you an electric tricycle that's great for heavier riders, but before I do hit that subscribe button below. Stay in touch with us here at sixthreezero. Be the first to know about all the new content we're putting out, giveaways we do, and of course new product releases.

All right, so today I've got the Easy Transit, 750-watt foldable electric tricycle that is great for heavier riders. And today I've got some riders to demonstrate for you. I've got Jasper on my right and Adam on my left. Jasper is 250 pounds, 5'9", and Adam is 5'10" and 350 pounds approximately.

So we get a lot of questions and a lot of people want to see demonstrations for riders over 200 pounds, 250 pounds because the common size in America is not necessarily 150 pounds. So they're going to demonstrate for us today. This 750-watt foldable e-trike is very, very powerful and we're going to see that in a second.

Before we get into that though, let me just walk you through this a little bit. So like I said, this trike folds right here. Adam, if you want to hold the microphone really quick and I'll actually demonstrate for them. So let me just go ahead and show you. There's a clip down here. I'm going to unlock it. Watch how easily this folds.

And you can also take the handlebars down here. Oh, not this one, sorry. This one is right here.

Adam: Just like that.

Dustin: And now you've got it folded in half. So it's going to be easy to transport, easy to store, and easy to lift if you need to do that. I would be lifting from the other side. It'd make it a little bit easier and then folding it back up, just pull this out. There we go. And clamp this down, put my lock back in, bring my handlebars back, and voila, you're back and moving.

So we actually have another video as well where we load this into a car. Again, check that out on the channel. Okay, front and rear basket, 750-watt front hub motor. So top speed's going to be limited to 15, but the 750 watts are going to be great for acceleration, especially if you're a heavier rider, it's going to get you going easier.

In addition to that it gets you up hills, so having that power in the front hub motor will be great. 10.4 amp hour battery. You're going to get about 20 to 40 miles depending on how you use this e-trike, so actually could be more than 15 to 40. I've got other videos with similar battery sizes where we've hit more than 20 miles just using the throttle. The range is going to depend on the weight of the rider, what level of pedal assist you use, or if you use the throttle. All those factors play in, also, the terrains that you're riding on. Front and rear.

Disc brakes, which provide ample stopping power. We have another video that shows how this can stop really on a dime. Front and rear basket. Another cool thing is 16-inch wheels. So mounting and dismounting is easy. Has a very low step-through, so you can step through, step up to the pedal, and slide onto the bike. Another super cool thing is, the double seat post for the ability to extend it really high or really low and this extendable quick-release handlebar.

This can accommodate riders about four foot nine to six foot five, and we can custom adjust it to your body because these are easy, quick-release options so it's really, really cool. In addition to that, when we ship it to you, the assembly's going to be super easy. You're just going to put the front wheel on, it folds into place, and boom, you're off and riding.

Lastly, the seven-speed derailleur. So if you want to ride this tri without any power at all, you have seven speeds, which makes it very simple, very easy to ride. Then when you're in pedal assist, you want to gain some speed or go uphills. You have that range. You've got the first gear for it to be easy on hills and the seventh gear if you want to start accelerating and get moving.

All right, with that said, whoever wants to demonstrate first. Actually, let's get Jasper on there first. So Jasper's 250 pounds. We'll show you how easily it accelerates for him and yep, just hold down that middle button and go for it whenever you're ready.

So you can see with taking off with the throttle, got him going with no problem at all. And the cool thing with the very small wheels is it's super nimble, super easy to steer. Yep. So lots and lots of power in that front hub motor and it turns on a dime. Nice and easy. No problem. I can see he's having fun. He doesn't want to get off I don't think. It's fun, right?

Jasper: It really is.

Dustin: And what do you think about the steering?

Jasper: The steering is so crazy. That on-a-dime turning is awesome.

Dustin: Yeah.

Jasper: And the acceleration is so crazy. I like anything electric.

Dustin: How do you think it handled your weight with the throttle?

Jasper: It was such a smooth ride and the acceleration for my body weight is definitely the best I've seen for e-vehicles. The acceleration just picked up immediately. There was no hesitation. There's no kickoff, you have to build it up. It just took off and it was pretty awesome.

Dustin: Takes off. Awesome. Cool. Well, so no problem for Jasper at 250. All right, Adam, you're up.

Adam: Thank you. All right.

Dustin: So same drill.

Adam: Let's do it.

Dustin: All right. He's doing it with the throttle too, and he's moving easy and you can see he's accelerating into the turn. Yeah, generally on the trikes, you don't want to accelerate into the turn, only out of the turn and you can see how easily he turned right there.

Adam: That was a super tight turn. Yeah.

Dustin: You can do one more loop just at a...

Nice turning.

Adam: Super smooth.

Dustin: So you accelerated into the turn. You still had control though.

Adam: Yeah. Still had quite a bit of control, very easy, lots of control, very nimble.

Dustin: What do you think about the power and responsiveness of your weight?

Adam: Just super, super responsive. A lot of power there, definitely.

Dustin: How about getting going from the start when you push the throttle? Does it just go?

Adam: Yeah, straight from the start. I didn't even pedal at all if you noticed. I make a point of doing that because it's a lot. With a regular bike the hardest part is getting started is getting that initial push, but with the assist, easy.

Dustin: Yeah.

Adam: Super easy.

Dustin: That's awesome. Well, there you have it. No problem for Adam. Super nimble. You can see how small turns he can make on it and how fast they can accelerate. I think that's the one thing I always see with a lot of our riders. You have to be careful about that. I think it's more power than a lot of people are used to. And then you get excited because you want to get going and test it out. So more than enough power in the 16-inch foldable trike, no problem for Jasper at 250 pounds and Adam at three 50 pounds.

Okay, one other cool feature of the foldable easy transit is the reverse option. So if you ever get yourself backed into a, or straightened into a corner or you're in a grocery store, you need to navigate because you can use this as a personal mobility device and you need to back up, get something off a shelf or just get out of a corner, all you have to do is flip this little switch right here, hit the throttle and start pedaling backward. And there you go.

It's really easy. And then if you want, you can flip the switch back and you're going forward again, and again you can see Adams 350 pounds. The reverse has no problem getting him going backward. So again, a great little feature to have, gets you out of corners, easy to navigate in small spaces. It's there if you need it.
