Electric Bikes In Los Angeles
Hey guys, Dustin here, CEO of Sixthreezero. Thanks for watching. Thanks for joining me. Today we are going to talk about Electric Bikes Los Angeles or where to find electric bikes in LA. So with that said, electric bikes are new to the bike market. I mean new in the last five, six years, really gaining in popularity, especially here in California. So I just wanted to give you a couple tips, tricks, places to find electric bikes and hopefully help you get an electric bike. So with that said my first thought, suggestion, tip for finding an electric bike in LA is most bike shops in Los Angeles now should be carrying electric bikes. So now that's going to be in conjunction with carrying normal bicycles. So some stores may have less selection, some state stores may have more of a selection, but I would say if I had to guess 90% of bike shops in Los Angeles would have at least one electric bike on their sales floor.
I'd probably even be willing to say 95% of bike stores would have one bike on their floor. So you don't have to look necessarily for an electric bike. You can Google electric bike store, but I would say if you do that, you're not going to necessarily see every store that carries electric bikes in LA. I mean you're basically going to see the stores that do SEO search engine optimization to get ranked on Google for that keyword. Just know that most bike shops will have electric bikes. So my suggestion would be if you're really serious about researching and finding an electric bike in LA, maybe go to a handful of bike stores because each shop is going to carry different electric bike brands and you could just pop into any of the local ones and see what they have. Now if that's not good enough, there are a couple electric bike only stores in Los Angeles. Now there's only one, well there's two I can think of off the top of my head.
Now we're in Torrance, South Bay, so I don't know all areas of LA, but I do know one has opened in Hermosa Beach across from the 24-hour fitness. It's very small. Maybe 500 square feet or 600 square feet, but it is electric bikes only. I don't know the name of it off the top of my head, but Hermosa Beach across from a 24-hour fitness. Sure you can find it on Google. The other one I know about is an El Segundo and it's called Electric Bikes LA. It's about a thousand or maybe 2000 square foot store. Those guys have actually been around for several years now and they were one of the first electric bike stores in all of LA County. So I really would trust them, belief in them. I think they know what they're talking about. They're right in downtown El Segundo.
It's called Electric Bikes LA. I think if you're in the market for an electric bike, they're worth checking out. Again, I have no connection to them. They don't even know what I'm saying this. I just know offhand that even before electric bikes gained in popularity, their store was there. So they've really seen kind of the rise of electric bikes and yeah. I think they'd be able to guide you in the right direction. Now with that said too, Sixthreezero. We're here in Torrance and we also have a showroom and we also have electric bikes. So you know anybody obviously is welcome to come into our store. Please check our website for the most current hours. Sometimes it changes seasonally and we update them, but you can come in here test drive. We're also happy just to help answer any questions about electric bikes in general.
No hard feelings if you don't choose a Sixthreezero. Truthfully, I just want anyone and everyone to find the bike that's right for them. So we're happy to guide you in the right direction. I know buying any product that you don't know a lot about, especially something over a thousand or $2,000 can be daunting and intimidating. So we're here to help and answer questions, no pressure. Again, we're in Torrance. On our website, 1504 West 228th Street Torrance, California. Come on in and check it out. Now and lastly with that said, I'm just kind of making a few suggestions but go in Yelp, go on Google, type it in and I'm sure some electric bike only stores will pop up, but don't forget my suggestion of looking in all bike stores. Even if they don't come up in search, because I guarantee they'll have electric bikes.
My last suggestion too is Walmart and Dick's Sporting Goods. Now I've been in Walmart, I haven't seen electric bikes in their store, so that I'm not sure if they're planning to carry him them in-store, but Dick's Sporting Goods, I would bet you are going to have electric bikes in certain stores throughout the country. Then my last suggestion would be REI and I would also guarantee REI has got some electric bikes. So if you'd want to test ride some bikes, you can check out REI and Dick's, maybe a more low-pressure environment and see what they have there. Maybe there's some better price points, things like that. I'd be certain REI has stuff and I would be certain Dick's does in certain areas. So just check their website and make sure they carry electric bikes in the region that you're in.
So I hope that helps. If you have any thoughts, suggestions, feedback, question, comments, please comment below. I know I'm not right about everything so I'd love to hear any feedback or thoughts.
