Double the Fun: Electric Trike Tandem Ride with Pedal Assist & Throttle: This is Must SEE!

Hi, I'm Diane from sixthreezero, and I'm excited to test ride our electric trike tandem bike today.

This trike features pedal assist, a right-side throttle, a center display, and seven gears for versatile riding. For storage, it includes a front and a rear basket. Our videographer, Lisa, will be joining me in the back, which is a very comfy little spot. She can choose to help pedal or simply coast. Let's start the ride!

I'll start the bike using the power button in the back. The center display shows my energy level, speed, current pedal assist setting, and mileage. Lisa, are you ready? Do you trust me? Let's go!

I'm starting in pedal assist one and using the throttle to get us moving. The ride is comfortable; I can barely tell there's someone behind me. Lisa is being a team player and helping to pedal. I'll use the throttle a bit more to keep us going smoothly.

Since I have a passenger, I'll increase the pedal assist to two, and then three. We'll need to pedal together! The trike handled a small bump well. We even saw some puppies on our ride!

I'm back down to pedal assist two now since we're on flat terrain. The ride remains comfortable for both of us. The hand grips feel a little wider on this model. I'll increase the pedal assist two again because I feel a slight incline, even if it doesn't look like one.

This bike is very stable. I like it, and it doesn't feel like I have a passenger. Lisa finds it comfortable in the back as well. If we wanted, we could both get a good workout.

We decided to try riding with the pedal assist switched off entirely. It was just Lisa and me, working together. Even with two of us, it wasn't bad, and we managed a slight incline on a driveway without much trouble. Lisa is a strong teammate!

Back on pedal assist, I also kicked in the throttle. The ride is very smooth. The handlebars are comfortable, and the bike handles bumps well, remaining very safe. There’s no need to lean into turns; the steering takes care of it. The tandem trike is easy to pedal, and even without pedal assist, we managed the incline without getting tired. The two back wheels add extra stability.

The bike's maneuverability is surprisingly tight and comfortable—I didn't have to lean one way or the other while making turns. Using a combination of the right gear, pedal assist, and the throttle as needed provides a very efficient and comfortable ride.

It was super fun. Come and test ride it at sixthreezero in San Clemente. Thanks for joining! Drop any questions or comments below—we're happy to answer. Have a great day.
