Can You Tell This is an Electric Bike? A Simple, Clean Looking E Bike

Can you tell that this is an electric bike? Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I wanted to see if you can tell that this is an e-bike. All right, right here I've got Evryjourney 500-watt electric bike. Now, by looking at it, could you tell it's an electric bike? Now the reason I bring that up is because there are a lot of e-bikes out there right now that look like e-bikes or look like motorcycles. Now, we wanted to design an e-bike that looks like a bike but is an electric bike. It also is going to feel like a regular bike, steer like a regular bike, but have the motor and assistance of an e-bike. Now, like I said, there's a lot of e-bikes coming out. They look big and clunky. They look like a motorized device. Now, if you can come in closer, I'll show you where the battery is. The battery's on the rear here, but if you look at this from the front, this looks like a standard bicycle. Also, the display... is incognito on the handlebar here. Now you can tell on the back here, you have your battery. Now that gives it away a little bit if you see it from the side.

But if you can tell here, this is your motor inside the hub. And there's not much giving away that that's an actual motor. It blends into the wheel. And again, there are other e-bikes out there. They've got big batteries mounted up here. Or huge motors in there, and you can tell just by looking at it. And I think to some extent, it takes away from the simplicity and the beauty, especially of the EvryJourney frame, that just creates that elegance and simplicity, right? Now, the cool thing is that this is a 500-watt e-bike, so that is still a very powerful motor. You're gonna get up to speeds of 20 miles an hour by just using the throttle, and 22 miles an hour in pedal assist. And this battery right here can give you a range of up to 50 miles on a single charge. The other cool thing is it's got this step-through frame and you've got all these different colorways, the navy, camel mauve, coral, jade straw, cream, periwinkle, and matte black. It has a very cool cruiser hybrid recreational feel with this upright riding position. And so, It feels like a bicycle, but you have that assistance. So if you're looking for something where, number one, you don't want it to be big, clunky, super heavy like a lot of these other e-bikes if you also want something simple but still efficient, still powerful, it's a cool e-bike. You can tell just by looking at it how beautiful it is, to be honest with you.
