All right. Behind me, I have the best three-wheel electric bikes for seniors and I'm about to tell you why. A lot of people turn to three-wheel bikes for different reasons, there could be balance issues, you may just want to have fun and ride a trike that you don't have to worry about balancing, or you may have an injury that prohibits you from riding a normal bike, and also, as some riders get older, over 60, over 70, they feel more comfortable on a three-wheel electric bike. We have a lot of riders in that age group that enjoys riding our Sixthreezero EVRYJourney three-wheel electric bike and I want to explain to you today what makes this so good for seniors.

To start off, you can see we have a great color palette, which this is not just specific to our senior riders, but to anybody. We have great color choices, more than just the typical black, white, silver, and gray. We have our matte black, our navy, our cream, and our teal. Really, something for everyone. Let me go ahead, pull one out, and really walk you through the features that make this a great three-wheel electric bike for seniors. To start off, the seating position and the ergonomics of this three-wheel bike. We have an easy step-through frame, that's number one. Mounting and dismounting for some riders, as you get older, can be challenging, so a nice, easy step-through frame is really key. You can just put your foot on the pedal and get on.

The benefit of the three wheels is you're going to be stable no matter what, you don't have to balance. Riders four 10, four 11 can ride this trike. Your feet won't necessarily be able to be on the ground with the seat adjusted properly. Excuse me, but that won't matter, because you're going to be able to stop and get off, you could mount off of one pedal, whichever is easiest, you could pull your leg through this way. Mounting and dismounting are really quite easy. Actually, we have some other videos with seniors over 60 riding this electric trike for the first time. You can check out our YouTube channel if you want to see their firsthand experience, also, on how they mount, dismount, ride, and how they enjoy it.

In addition to the mounting and dismounting are the ergonomics. With our EVRYJourney, we have these swooping handlebars that come into your body, keep your back upright, and keep your arms in a very relaxed position. This is really nice because you're going to take tension off your arms and your shoulders. You don't have to reach out in front and keep tension on your shoulders to grasp the bars, they swoop into your body, you can have a nice bend, and you can be very relaxed. Also, with this straight-up and down posture, you're going to eliminate pain in your back when you're riding. Again, if you're going on longer rides or you want to enjoy the ride, you don't want to get off and have back pain, this ergonomic riding position is going to make it easy on your body and you're not going to have the residual pain the next day, so you can go for a ride in consecutive days.

You can easily get off. The other benefit is we have four custom adjustment points, which are going to allow you to adjust the bike perfectly to the ergonomics of your body. No matter what, you're going to be able to adjust this so you're riding in a perfectly ergonomic position. First adjustment point is here with the seat, raising and lowering, then you can tilt the seat, then you can tilt the handlebars, and raise and lower the handlebars. Not all bikes have the capability to raise and lower the handlebar, some have fixed pieces there, and not all tilt to the degree that ours tilt. No matter your preferred position, you'll be able to tilt, tilt the seat, and really find out what's going to work best for your body.

In addition, we have a slight forward peddling design. The benefit, you can keep the seat lower to the ground, which is going to be safer, and you're still going to get proper leg extension when riding because you're going to get the extra extension with the forward peddling design. For a senior rider that's concerned about safety and balance, this trike is perfect with the easy mounting and dismounting, and also being able to be lower to the ground means you can get off easier, should you need to get off for any reason. Moving to the electric components. For senior riders, having the electricity on your three-wheel bike is great, because if you get tired or you want to ride farther, it's great to have the ability to kick on the motor and do things like that. What makes this great, especially for senior riders, is number one, it's a 250-watt motor in the front hub. That's ample power to get you going, to get you up slight hills, but it's not too much. There's a risk if you get too powerful of a motor, it can jerk you, and it could be unsafe.

It's sometimes excessively too much power. The benefit here is you have a full throttle option or a pedal assist option. You can either push the throttle and go like me. I weigh 215 pounds, just for reference, or you can pedal. Keep in mind, that was only in level one, so I'll kick it up to level... I'll do level four here. You can see, there I go, I'm off and running. The benefit is you have enough power, even for somebody my size, but it's not too much power to make this unsafe, because you just want enough power to get going if you so choose, and if you do pedal assist, enough to help you. Also, the beauty is you can adjust these levels. If you want to get more exercise on a certain day or less exercise, you determine how much power you want the motor to work for you, and if you're going to use the throttle, you decide how much you engage or disengage with your thumb and that's how much output the motor will have.

Some other features that are very convenient, you have your battery right back here and we have our key. You can easily remove the battery for simple charging. If you need to park your bike outside, but you want to bring your battery in, you just simply pull it off and bring it into the house. This weighs approximately eight pounds, so it's not super heavy, but it's enough to have a charge where you can ride. In pedal assist mode, you could probably get up to 40 miles on this trike, depending on the weight of the rider and the loads you're bringing, terrain, wind, and also a combination of what level you're in power assist. Throttle, I would estimate anywhere from eight miles to 20 miles, depending on the weight of the rider, the weight of the load, and again, the terrain.

A lot of these things play a big impact. Also, the way you use the throttle, you use the pedal assist. Those are going to impact the range you get, just like an electric car. If you're gassing it, flooring it more, you're going to get less range. You can click that back in and now you're all set, you charged it up. It's easy on and off, you've got the great big basket in the back here. We have some riders that love to put their dogs in there, you can put groceries, whatever you want. I've actually put another person in here just to test it. I'm 215, we had a rider in here that's 120, and we were able to tow her around for fun, no problem. In addition, we've got the front and rear brakes. The roller brake in the back and the caliper brakes in the front are going to provide more than enough stopping power.

The last feature that's a huge benefit is the seven speeds. It's an electric bike, but we also have the seven-speed derailleur. If you should so choose to ride it without the electricity... I'm going to show you right now and take this down to zero. I'm in gear two, it's super simple and easy. Being able to shift down, now I'm in first gear, makes it very simple and easy to pedal, and you can glide. Then, if you should so choose... If our cameraman can keep up with me, now I kicked it on, I can hold the throttle, I'm already up to 12 miles an hour. I hit the brakes and I can come back, no problem. I'm back in the screen here, now I'm in pedal assist, and you can see I can get going pretty fast, pretty quick.

I can stop pretty easily, that was 11 miles an hour. It's really up to you. Again, I weigh 215 and you didn't see this was struggling at all. Let me go ahead and park. You can see the maneuverability. The one thing about trikes, if you've never ridden them, they are different from regular bikes. They feel different, but if you've never ridden them, just know that it takes a little bit of getting used to them, but once you do, it becomes second nature. That is it, the best three-wheel electric bike for seniors, the Sixthreezero EVRYJourney electric trike.
