Awesome Bike for Special Needs Riders: Safe & Fun Way for a Disabled Person to Take a Ride

I'm going to show you an awesome bike for someone with special needs. Hey everyone I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to show you an awesome bike for someone with special needs. All right, this is the EvryJourney Rickshaw. This is an awesome bike for someone with special needs. Now, we have a lot of riders that have children or loved ones with special needs. And they've turned to the rickshaw as a means to get their special needs rider out and enjoying the outdoors. And you can see why, because you've got this seat on the back here that you can fit passengers up to 300 pounds and also up to six foot five we've had back here now. I'm five foot ten and 230 pounds and you can see I can sit comfortably back here. Also if you have smaller children you can fit up to three children or smaller adults, you can fit up to two adults and you can check out all the videos on our YouTube channel where we do tons of rides. And we show how you can do three kids, two adults, one adult, all sorts of different things.

Now you have the seat belt back here also to buckle in your passenger safely. You can also install three-point harnesses here if you need a little bit more security, and you need to secure your rider a little bit more. Also, just to say quickly, if you want to jump into our Facebook group called sixthreezero Pedalers, you can talk to existing riders who are using this very rickshaw for their children or others with special needs. So you can hear firsthand from them as well. Now, the great thing about this is that it's electric. It has a 750-watt front hub motor and a 21 amp hour battery. So you can travel up to speeds of 16 miles an hour. You can also go up to 50 miles on a single charge. Now, the top speed and the range are dependent on the weight of the riders you have on the back. So it's up to 500-pound capacity. So the heavier, the slower you're going to go and the less range you're going to get out of the battery. The lighter the load, the longer the range and the faster top speed you're going to have. But 16 miles an hour will be the top either way. Now, from a safety perspective, there are three disc brakes on this e-bike, so you can stop safely, and smoothly. You've also got these four-inch wide tires that keep this e-bike or trike planted on the ground. Now, it is also pretty heavy. It's 130 pounds, but that is to the advantage of keeping this stable and on the ground so tipping's not a factor.

You don't have to worry about that. The cool thing is that if you're taking a rider with you on the back and you don't want to pedal, you can push this thumb throttle here. And the bike can do all the work. Now, if you also want to get exercise while you're bringing your special needs rider with you, you can do that. You can pedal and you can increase the assistance up or down up to level five, and you can still move your legs, get some exercise a little bit, but let the motor assist you along the way. The other thing is, you've got the suspension seat post, which is nice. So riding is very comfortable. If you're the driver, you can see here. My back is upright. The bars come into my body. It's a nice, comfortable riding position. Now, again, like I said, if you want to see more details, check out our YouTube channel. Oh, also, I forgot to mention you have storage under here as well, so you can bring any necessities with you. There are also a lot of ways to accessorize what you can see. There are bags you can hang on the sides here. You can hang it on the back as well. And we have a video on our website showing you different ways to accessorize as well. So if you want to check that out, you can do that. Also, as I said, pop into the Facebook group sixthreezero Pedalers and see how other families with special needs children are utilizing this rickshaw to give their special needs child or adult just an awesome experience on a bike so they can feel the wind in their face and the breeze and get that outdoor experience.

Of being on a bike, like I already said three times. Now, if you have any other questions at all, please reach out to us at theteam@sixthreezero.com or call us at 310-982-2877. Also, we have a 30-day test ride on your e-trike policy. If you don't love it in the first 30 days, send it back. No questions asked, no money out of your pocket. In addition to that, we're going to warranty everything for one year. In the first year, if anything goes wrong, we take care of its parts and labor. And lastly, as I said, join our Facebook Pedalers group to talk to people before you purchase. Then also download our app, track your rides in the app, which is a lot of fun, and compete on the leaderboard. So thanks for sticking around and don't forget, it's your journey or experience. Enjoy the ride.
