AWESOME 3 Wheel Bike for Seniors & Adults: Stable, Easy to Ride Three Wheel Bike

E-trikes and tricycles are very popular in senior communities with riders over 55. A lot of riders as we start to get a little bit older aren't as comfortable on two wheels anymore, which makes complete sense. Having the three wheels set up makes riding safer, and more balanced, and you don't have to worry about falling as much as you would on a two-wheel bicycle.

Now, what three-wheel bike is best for you if you're a senior? Well, I've got one great option here that I think is one of the best. A couple of reasons why I love this trike for seniors. Number one, it has an ergonomic riding position that's going to keep your back upright while riding. You also have that step-through frame right there. You can slide on, and now you can see my back is upright, my arms are relaxed and I'm ready to ride. The other thing about this is you have four adjustment points. What I mean by that is you can adjust the handlebars up and down, you can adjust the tilt of the handlebars, you can adjust the seat up and down, and you can also tilt the seat, so it is customizable to your body.

I think comfort is one of the most important things for riders over the age of 55, mainly because you want to be comfortable. You want to feel comfortable on whatever bike or e-trike or trike that you're riding to ensure you have a good safe ride. Now, three wheels, and this is electric. This is a front 250-watt hub motor with a 10.4 amp hour battery. Now there are different e-trikes out there, but why I love this for seniors is that this is a 250-watt. It's not too much power, but it's enough power and it's going to be enough to power you on rides around the community, flat ground, minor hills, things like that.

There are options for 500-watt and 750-watt out there, but I've done hundreds of test rides with senior riders, and I find that as you get into higher power, a lot of times it can be overwhelming for riders. That's why I like the 250 watts. It's just enough, so when you go out for a ride, if you need a little assistance going up a hill or you get tired on a ride and you need help coming back home, put the motor on and let the motor assist you. Now on our YouTube channel, you can find tons more videos about this electric trike, so go ahead and search there if you want to see more riding videos, different things, and all sorts of footage like that. You also have a pedal assist or a throttle. You can turn the motor on and use a throttle so if you don't want to pedal at all, let the throttle do the work, or you can put it into pedal assist. You can do levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Let the motor assist you.

The huge benefit is that you're in the market for a three-wheel bike and you were looking at something without electric, for not too much money you can add the electric and get the benefit of, can still use this as a regular bike, but the electric can help expand the type of riding you're going to do, where you're going to go, and also allow you to just do more with the trike overall.

In addition, you have a big cargo spot back here, so if you want to turn this into your daily grocery store ride, getting supplies, going to the local pool, putting your towels in here, you name it, you can do it, and having the electric is just going to make it that much easier to ride. If you get tired, again, increase the level of assistance or just use the throttle. You've got front and rear brakes that stop very easily. A nice comfortable saddle.
