An Electric Trike w/ Reverse!?! You'll Want to See How this E Trike Rides Backwards

All right. Now, this is the EZ Transit foldable e-trike from sixthreezero. It's linked in the description below if you wanna check it out. Now, there are a lot of cool features on this e-trike. But the one feature we're gonna focus on today is the reverse option. Now, not a lot of electric trikes have that option out there. The EZ Transit has it, and what's cool about it is if you get into precarious scenarios or you maybe pull up to the sand, you want to look out at the ocean, or you want to go into an elevator, ride it indoors, and you don't want to get off or you can't get off, this has a reverse option to back you out of the corner. Now, it's also cool for parking, so if you're going to ride somewhere and park, it makes it easier. If you pull it into a bike rack or a parking spot, you can reverse out. 

Because for some people, it may be difficult to finagle it now you can roll it backwards. But if it's too heavy for you to do that, or if you want to get on and ride it in reverse, you have that option. Now, up here on the handlebars, there's just a little switch. It's got a D and an R. If you flip it to reverse, now you're in reverse. And I will power on and demonstrate to you how this works. Let me raise the seat a little bit. Okay. All right. So, You're gonna go ahead and get on. All right. Now, let me pull the handlebars up too. Okay. Clamp those down. Now I'm in a perfect riding position. Now from here, there are two ways to do it. 

One, just push the throttle. We can go forward. Okay. Now actually pedaling backwards won't work. So there's only one option, which is to put it in reverse, push your throttle, and now you're going backward. And now you do have to move your feet backward when you're going in reverse. And from there, then I can flip it and drive and quickly go forward. So you can see what's cool. Go ahead and demonstrate. Pull towards the camera here. Coming in close. All right. Reverse backward. And I can go ahead and pull into my parking spot here. And these small tires on the EZ Transit just make it so easy to turn and navigate. So I'll go ahead and try to just make a little turn here.

It can come in handy, especially if you want to ride indoors or if you're doing a lot of riding to the grocery store and you're parking outside and you need to back out of a spot and get on your way, it can prove to be very practical.
