So this is my pick as an electric trike for seniors and I'm going to walk you through why. Now I've done hundreds of test rides with seniors on trikes, and E-bikes. Witnessed firsthand what's good and what's bad, what the feedback is.

I've also read a lot of forums and I understand different riders, different rider types, and what are the needs out there for electric trikes. Now, generally speaking, there are different E-trikes. Sixthreezero, we offer different E-trikes as well, and it's hard to say that seniors fall into a very broad category. There are different ability levels for senior riders. So it's not to say that this E-trike is going to be best for every senior rider, but I think generally speaking, this is going to be a very broad, really great electric tricycle for a lot of senior riders.

Okay, a couple of things I just want to point out. Now before I get into it as well. We have other YouTube videos on this product, the sixthreezero Easy Transit foldable E-trike. If you want to see test rides and demos and people taking it uphill, heavier riders, 250, 300 pounds test riding. You can find that in the channel. Check it out. You can search for Easy Transit or foldable, folding E-trike. Now this electric tricycle has a 750-watt front hub motor matched with a 10.4 amp hour battery. So what's cool about this is that 750 watts of power is going to be able to get riders up to 350 pounds up hills. So it's a very large motor on a very compact small E-trike, which is another benefit. But that 750 watts is going to give you the power you need to go uphill.

So if you will need to ride a lot of hills, you don't have to worry about it. You'll have the power here and the 10.4 amp hour battery is going to allow you to go to a range of up to 50 miles. Now that can vary depending on how you ride, the pedal assist levels you use, the throttle you use, and the terrain and the weight of the rider. Now you just heard me say it has five levels of pedal assist, one, two, three, four, five. What's cool is you can decide how much assistance you want when you pedal. You can put it in level one, two, all the way up to level five, and you also have a throttle here where you can just not pedal and use the throttle to go.

Now we've had a lot of senior riders that have bought this for indoor and outdoor use and we've done a video on our YouTube channel as well where a senior took this into a department store and shopped around with it. Now you have to check with your local stores what they allow or don't allow. But he used the basket, he got his groceries, and because of the 16-inch wheels, this is very maneuverable and easy to turn, more maneuverable and easy to turn versus a 20-inch, 24-inch, or 26-inch. Once you get into those bigger wheels, it's going to be harder to make tight turns in tight spaces. So if you're looking for something indoor and outdoor, this is a great option. The other cool feature of this E-trike is you have a reverse option. So you can switch it to reverse up here and you can just go backwards like that. I can come back forward like this. There you go.

So that makes it also very versatile for different physical abilities for senior riders. If you want something that you can take straight from the street into your house or a community center or something like this, again, a really, really great option. Now the other cool thing is this is very adjustable for riders 4'9" to 6'4". We have some sizing videos where we show different heights getting on the Easy Transit. You have a double adjustable seat post here, so you can get this very low if you need it to be, or you can take it lower than that all the way down here, or you can take it up very high if you're a very tall rider. Let me go ahead and tighten that down and there's a little line indicating, you can tighten that. And then this can also come up here and this will indicate to us, there's the line on the backside there, right there.

So now you can see just how high you can get that seat up if you so choose. And up on the front, you have an adjustable handlebar up and down. So you can take this up or down and find the height that's perfect for you. I'm going to go ahead and bring this down a little bit. Right about it is good for me. Okay, so that makes it nice. You can also tilt the handlebars into your body if you want to be in the most relaxed position possible. You can bring these as close to you as you want. So if you don't want to even reach this much, tilt them forward. You could have them right here. It's nice because it just makes it easy on your shoulders and your back. And again, as a rider, you don't have to strain because we don't want to see you in pain. We want to make sure your back is upright, you're nice and comfortable, and you can ride easily again without experiencing pain anywhere in your upper body or your back.

Now the cool thing too is you can ride this like a normal bicycle. It has seven gears up here and you can go ahead and shift those up or down one through seven. So if you want to ride without the electricity and just give your body a workout, that option is there. And you have the first gear, which is going to make it easy to pedal. So you can even take on some hills or you can hit higher top speeds in level seven. So again, a great option. The one thing I love about this though is the 16-inch tires make for a very low step through. So mounting and dismounting is going to be easy. If you have any sort of arthritis or any limitations in your hip movement where you can't lift your leg very high, this is literally about just as high as stepping into something.

And from there, you just step onto the pedals and you slide right onto the seat. I can't imagine any other trike being this easy to get on and off with how low that step-through is. Now also, front and rear baskets, again, great, if you want a grocery shop, bring things with you, go to a local community pool, tennis, what you name it, pickleball. You can put everything in the back basket here, close it up. You can put things in the front basket as well.

And the last feature that I haven't mentioned yet is the foldability of it. Now this is cool if you do any type of RV-ing or you want to throw it in an SUV or a hatchback and you drive places, or again, yeah, if you RV, you camp and you want to bring it with you, this thing's going to fold up real small. So you can come up here and from here your handlebars can fold down. And then in the middle of the frame, you can see you have a latch mechanism right here. And you can simply unfold... Oh, we got to just push this down, push up. And from there, I won't go ahead and unfold it all the way. You can see the frame start to unfold. Okay, so then you would just close this back up like so. Lift that, get your pin in place, and go ahead and latch that down, and then your handlebars will come back up. The other thing too is if you live in a smaller condo or townhome, you're going to want to fold it up. You can store it indoors. If you don't have a garage or somewhere to keep it, you could wheel it into your house at night, fold it up, put it in the corner, and take up very little space.

So I love this electric trike for seniors. It's my number one pick as the most versatile, easy to store, easy to get on and off, and very comfortable riding position.
