76-Year-Old Tries Out The Relaxed Body E-Trike for the First Time Ever!

Hi, I'm Jack. I'm testing the RelaxBody e-bike now, and this is kind of cool. What I like about it, the first thing I notice is, look how easy it is to step into. Some of these e-bikes have bars across here, and you have to actually lean the bike down to get over it. So this is a piece of cake. Usually, what I like to do on a bike is I adjust the seat, and I do it this way, I put my heel on the back, on the pedal there, and my knee should break just a little bit. That way, you're getting a full thrust because our goal is to make sure that you get a little exercise when you get on the bike. So when you're pedalling, you get the full energy of your leg, so that's just me, that's what I like to do. Now this has all the bells and whistles. It's got your power over here, plus and minus. Your display is right in front of you, so you can see that. You can see what your power is like and your speed. Gears are over here on this side. Typically, I run maybe gear number four or five. If you're going downhill or really fast, then you go on seven. If you're going like 20 miles an hour, 24 miles an hour, you're just going to spin. So it all depends on you. You control everything.  The brakes are disc brakes, which are really nice, really strong. Let's take it for a run. I haven't ridden this, so I'm excited. Let's see what happens. It does take off. Okay, I'm on two right now. It goes up to five. Five is the maximum. We'll see how this goes.

Okay, so see I'm pedalling really fast, but if I put it in the transmission to a four, then I'm getting more of a pedal. And I can really feel it when I pedal. And it's so quiet. This bike is so quiet. It's really stable too. I like this. kind of a cross between a regular two-wheel e-bike and the new four-wheel one that we have. Depends on what you need and what you want, and what makes you comfortable. thing about electric it just takes off, and it's so quiet. Got the light in front for not riding. Always wear a helmet. Re-brake, use both brakes. You'll stop in a heartbeat. Want to sell your car after riding this? Don't want to deal with I mean, it continues to go faster as they go up. day to ride. What's fun about this bike is that I'm able to customise my ride to the type of terrain, how much work I want to put in, and I don't have to worry about stability. You've got a tricycle, which keeps you nice and safe, turns really, really well. I can't emphasise how important the brakes are. Here we go. I like to, I usually try to remember to scale my speed down when I take off, because an electric bike will just explode. So I usually start it at like one. Again, it goes from one to five. I start it at one. After I'm riding for a while, I might just start it at three or four, but everybody's got a little bit different take on what they want out of an e-bike. See how I'm spinning my pedals? I scaled the gear down to four. I can pedal a lot faster. And now I'll go to 6, and there's more resistance.

So sure it's convenient, but it's also a great exercise tool. You like the handlebars? He's reminiscent of a motorcycle instead of the handlebars. I like the looks. It's a nice combination of power and stability. I like that it has the luggage area here, you can carry a hundred dollars' worth a lot of things in here. If you go to the beach, you can put all your towels and your lunch, and everything in here. Plenty of room for that. The nice thing is you can park it anywhere. And it's got plenty of power. It's got pedals with grips on it for safety. Got a full read panel up here that tells you how fast you're going, how much energy you have on this. Easy to charge up. charges over here, and you just plug it in like you would any e-bike, and the brakes are awesome, brakes are really good. You can even fine-tune this if you need to, without having to go to the shop. You just make a couple of twists like that, and it'll tighten up. So it's very, very easy, the power is right here, right at your fingertips, and it's well thought out. Very, very nice bike. You'll like it. Nice and stable.
