I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today I'm going to tell you six reasons why seniors are choosing this electric bike. Now this is a great electric bike for seniors because of one really obvious reason, which is this very low 11-inch step-through height, but there are also five other reasons that I want to get into. All right, so let's dive into reason number one, which is this 11-inch very low step-through height here where you can just literally step through and easily mount and dismount this e-bike and you can slide right onto the seat. Now, as a senior, I know safety has got to be a top priority on an e-bike, and the low step-through makes it safe to mount and dismount for whatever reason. If you need to get your feet down or you need to get off the bike quickly, you can pull through here and you can also mount very easily as well. Now without that, if you have a higher bar, you'd be swinging your leg around the back, which is not safe on an e-bike, or you'd have to get your leg up very high to get on and off. That's just not conducive to most riders.

Also, as for the seniors, I've done a lot of test rides with e-bikes and they've given me their opinion. They like the low step-through height. And so 11 inches on the simple step-through is the absolute lowest step-through height I've seen on any e-bike, and I'll stand by that. Even models with smaller wheels don't have that low of a step-through because of how the frame dips below the actual level of the crank, and you never see that on bikes. Usually, the crank is the lowest point, but you can see that the frame comes lower.

Now, reason number two, why seniors are choosing this e-bike is the ergonomic upright riding position. You can see my back is perfectly upright. The handlebars curve into your body, which keeps you in a nice upright riding position and you don't have to hunch forward, which means less pain on your body after you go for a long ride. It's very, very comfortable. In addition to that, you have four custom adjustment points on this e-bike. So you've got two up here on the handlebars and two on the seat. You can raise and lower the seat. You can tilt the seat, you can raise and lower the handlebars, and you can tilt the handlebars as well. So you can find that perfect riding position for your body to ensure that your body will be in the right sitting position so you don't have pain while you ride.

All right, reason number three, seniors are choosing this e-bike is the 500-watt rear hub motor. Now, there are different motor sizes that exist out there. There are 250 watt, 350 watt, 750 watt, and 500 watt. When you talk about street legal. I like the 500-watt because it's enough power to get most riders up to 300 pounds uphill, but it's not too much power when you're being jolted or jostled with the pedal assist kicks in. It's also not going up to 750 watts, so you're eliminating a danger there. Now, 250 watts is another option I see seniors choose, but I like having the 500 watts, so you have the extra power there if you want it, but again, it's not too much where it's as dangerous as a 750 watt, but again, it's enough power for riders up to 300 pounds.

Okay, reason number four, seniors love this e-bike is the throttle. Now you can see right here we have a throttle. The beauty of that is if you want to break when pedaling, you can use the throttle right here and not pedal at all. It's a great feature, especially if you take longer rides and you just want to give your legs a break, just use the throttle for a little bit. All riders enjoy it. It's also nice to get up and ride using the throttle sometimes. So instead of pedaling under your power, you can just push the throttle to keep the bike moving or to get the bike moving, and then you can kick in with your pedaling as you see fit. So again, that's a nice feature right here with the throttle.

Okay, reason number four is that seniors love this e-bike because of the aesthetic of it. Now, this is just one of the colorways. This is the navy. It comes in navy, teal, cream, and matte black. And it's something different. Now, matte black is pretty normal, but cream, navy, and teal are just something different. You can stand out a little bit. You don't have to have the typical white, gray, and silver colors on bikes. Even a lot of times there are some reds out there and even the blues that you see are not a metallic shiny blue, so it just looks a little bit better. Also, all of the colors except the black, are going to have this brown accent saddle, which is again, something different, something unique, something better than you've seen out there before. I like it because it stands out, especially amongst a lot of the other electric bikes.

All right, the last reason, six reasons why seniors love this e-bike is the pedal assist. Now you can see up here on your display, you've got five levels of pedal assist and you can do levels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so you can decide how much output or power you want while you're riding. You can go ahead and put it into level two, level three, and it's going to give you that assistance while you ride. I have found that a lot of seniors love pedal assist because most still enjoy pedaling to some extent because they're getting exercise, their body is moving, so they like to keep it in the lower pedal assist levels, but you've got those five levels. If you encounter some major hills or some big winds in your face or you're carrying a bigger load, you have those five assistance levels if you should need them.
