5 Best ELECTRIC BIKES With a THROTTLE | Throttle E-Bikes

Hey guys. Dustin here, CEO of sixthreezero, and today I'm going to show you the five best electric bikes with a throttle. Stick around.

All right. So today I'm going to show you the five best electric bikes with a throttle, but before I do hit that subscribes button below. Stay in touch with us here at sixthreezero and be the first to know about all the giveaways we're doing for bikes, e-bikes, and accessories and all the new content and all new products hit subscribe, you'll want to be in touch.

Okay?

So e-bikes come in different shapes, sizes, and variations. Some are pedal-assist only, some come with a throttle. If you don't know what a throttle is, a throttle is something where you can twist it, push it, whatever it is, it's going to make the bike go without having to pedal.

What I'm going to show you today is the five best electric bikes with a throttle. I've got, them lined up here from right to left. We have of our Reach Your Destination, EVRYjourney, Ride in the Park, Body Ease, and Around the Block.

At sixthreezero all of the e-bikes we make, come with a throttle. Our e-bikes are classified as class two e-bikes.

Let me walk you through here. Now...

Actually, before I jump in, there's a couple of things I'm want to talk about, so I don't miss them on each individual bike. Every bike I'm going to show you comes with a 500-watt motor mounted in the rear and a 10.4Ah battery. You're going to be able to hit top speeds of 20 miles an hour using the throttle 28 miles an hour, using the pedal assist function.

On the range, you're going to be able to get 20 to 30 miles with full throttle only, no pedaling, and 40 to 60 miles of range if you're using pedal assist. Now those range guidelines can vary depending on the weight of the rider, the conditions, like the wind, rain, and also the terrain. Pavement, hard-packed trail, bumps, hills, things like that, all can affect the range that I just told you. So that's a variable number, depending on all those things. I'm giving you the best-case scenarios when you're out there riding.

So let me start on the right here, your right, my left sort of is the Reach Your Destination.

This is a unisex frame and it comes in a few different colors and it's what we call men's and women's, or it's just whatever you like. This is our black and our navy. Again, the models that I'm going to show you today, check out our website. There are other color variations available in all of these e-bikes. I'm just showing you select color options for the video today.

The Reach Your Destination is our commuter-style e-bike, it has a comfortable position with a slight lean forward and thinner tires so you can be aggressive, get speed, do exercise. This is really the go fast e-bike that allows you to commute and ride fast.

With the handlebar setup and the riding set up really easy to steer quickly agilely. So again, if you want to ride a fast commute or zip around the city, this is a great, great option. The thin tires roll really smooth.

The other benefit. Yes, it's an e-bike and it's slightly heavy, but these are aluminum frames. So still fairly easy to pick up and I'm going to show you something else on all of these e-bikes, I won't demonstrate it with every one of them. All of these e-bikes you have a key back here, you can pop them into the lock, turn this and the battery is removable. It's a great feature because you can park your bike somewhere, the battery upstairs, charge it, go back down, and go for a ride or park your bike in the garage at night, bring the battery upstairs, charge it and when you're ready to ride the next day, you're good to go. Or if you commute to work, bring the battery up to your office, charge it so you can ride back home. This is a really easy, convenient feature and, as you can see, it just slides right back in. That is the same on all these bikes.

In addition, you're going to have a feature where you're going to have a screen up top. Now the screen varies a little bit bike-to-bike. This is going to tell you your battery life, your range, your speed, and how far traveled. In addition, on all the bikes on your left hand here, you're going to have your throttle and your pedal assist mode. You have pedal assist levels, one to five, actually zero to five. You can put either of these bikes and ride them like a normal bicycle and it's simple to do. It feels no different than riding a normal bike. You can select how much assistance you want, levels one to five. Level five would have a max speed of 28 miles an hour, depending on how hard you want a pedal and the output you want. All of these bikes have the same feature on the left here with the throttle and the pedal assist.

On the Reach Your Destination is a seven-speed Derailleur, so if you really do want to use the gears and ride this like a normal bike, you have a seven-speed option, which is great. If you're riding this like a normal bike or using a low pedal assist, you get a great gear ratio, a gear variance to go long distances, ride up hills. It's a huge benefit. Actually all the bikes we're looking out back here have the same feature, seven speeds with the external Derailleur, easy to shift right here.

Again, great. If you're going to use low pedal assistance or even the highest pedal as assist because you can put it into the seventh gear and you can get going a lot faster. So as we move through these, I'm not going to talk about these features because they're the same across all the bikes. I'm really going to show you the differences between each of them and what makes them unique.

Now moving on from the sort of one of our faster, smoother pedaling, e-bikes the Reach Your Destination with the throttle. I'm going to show you the EVRYjourney, an electric bike with a throttle.

The EVRYjourney's really the all-purpose e-bike with a forward pedaling design. Now, if you've never seen any of the other videos, the forward pedaling design means the pedals are moved slightly forward from below the seat by about four inches. What this does is give you the ability to put your feet flat on the ground when stopping, which makes it extra safe. So, if you're someone that really wants to use the throttle, but is a little bit concerned about safety. This bike is a great option, especially the step-through version. Watch this you step through. Now let me raise the seat a little bit to demonstrate this for you.

You can have your feet flat on the ground when stopped, but still get proper leg extension when riding, because of the forward peddling design. It's an unbelievable comfort feature and it's also a safety feature. Like I said if you're looking for an e-bike with a throttle, but you want to be certain you can plant your feet when stopping, this is the bike for you.

In addition, my back is upright, the handlebars sweep into your body. So there's no leaning forward, there's nothing, you're in a relaxed position with your arms, your shoulders. It's just ultimately very, very comfortable.

There's also a step over, which is the men's version. Still, the same riding position, you just have a higher top tube. You would Mount this bike by swinging your leg over this way. Now, this comes with thicker tires. It's good for all-purpose, whether it's going up and down curbs, around the park, around town, over hard packed trails, or gravel and the thicker tires add a little bit more vibration absorption, so you don't feel it in your body as much. It's a nice little feature, which is why I would say this is a great all-purpose e-bike. It's actually our best-selling e-bike and our best-selling standard bike as well.

All right, moving on.

Now, we're moving into our Ride in the Park electric bike. Now this Ride in the Park electric bike with a throttle. This is one of our more zippier e-bikes like our Reach Your Destination, which features thinner tires, and on the high-top tube, men's version a little bit of a lean forward, a more aggressive riding position. So you can really zip and go fast.

Our step-through version, which is really, really comfortable. This bike's great if you want that ergonomic upright riding position, but you also want the benefit of the thin tires and the zippiness. This thing can zip through town, cut through cars, it's a lot of fun. Again, the thin tires make it easy to turn and you can go super, super fast.

The men's version or high [inaudible 00:09:33] version comes with a rear leg sweep mount. You're leaning forward a little bit more, but again, it's a lot of fun if you want to go quick, be zippy, and have a lot of fun.

On these, it's a lot of fun saying "it's a lot of fun," but it is.

You're going to have the throttle here. On these thin tires, the electric bike with the thinner tires, with the throttle, you really feel the difference in the zippiness when you hit this right here. There's less drag with the tires and a lot, a lot of power when you accelerate. So if you're looking for that power, that zippiness, but still the layer of comfort, these are a great option.

All right, moving on to our Body Ease, which is sort of our all-purpose comfort model. This has slightly thicker tires. Actually, I take that back, they're actually the same as the Ride in the Park.

Now the Body Ease has thin tires as well, but we've added some bonus features for comfort. Like, the front fork is a suspension fork. The benefit of that, it's going to absorb the shock and the bumps. In addition, it comes with a suspension seat post and you can see we have two different versions here. The step-through and the high-top tube.

Now the thing with this frame, in particular, is nobody under five-foot-four, most likely will be able to ride this. We've done some sizing videos, we've tested it, we've realized that if you're below five-foot-four, you're going to have a hard time reaching the pedals because of the suspension seat post, the seat can't go down any further. You could always swap the seat post out, that makes it easier, but these are really comfortable.

You can see when you sit, the seat's going to move up and down with you and the front fork's going to move up and down. If you're looking for something that's going to really absorb all the shock in the seat and the front, these are great.

In addition, you can actually lock the front fork out so it won't move, which would mean you'd roll smooth. It's really an all-purpose comfort bike. It gives you these features where when you lock that fork out, it's going to roll smooth, roll easy.

Then you can have the step-through version as well and step-through nice and easy. Again, if you're wanting the throttle, but you're not quite sure or uncomfortable, the step-through makes it really safe. You can zip around on these as well, it's a lot of fun and easy to ride.

All right, we've got one more electric bike with a throttle to show you.

That is our Around the Block beach cruiser, electric bike, which is our most traditional beach cruiser frame, and our classically styled frame.

The Around the Block is the quintessential cruiser. If you're looking to go by the beach, go by the boardwalk, go around the neighborhood, we named it the Around the Block. It has a comfortable cruiser style, totally upright sweeping handlebar, very simple frame, but you've got the 2.125-inch tires, which add a layer of versatility, so you can and go over hard-packed trails, terrain, over bumps, and curbs and you won't feel it. So it's really good if you're going to go up and down sidewalks, riding over a little bit rougher streets, things like that, it's great for that. Again, you have the easier removable battery, like on ones.

The other thing I forgot to mention is all these bikes come with throttles, they also all come with disc brakes. That's key to a bike with a throttle, so you can stop on a dime easily and be completely safe.

All right. So the Around the Block sums up all the models and this is just one color, this comes in a bunch of different colors, check our website to see all the colors.

That sums up what, I believe to be, the five best electric bikes with a throttle.
