Three awesome e-bikes under $1,500. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today, I'm going to show you three awesome e-bikes under $1,500. All right, so if you are in the market for an electric bike, there are many choices out there. Today, I'm going to show you three great options under $1,500. One of them is under $1,000. It's our Simple Step-Thru 20-inch, our EvryJourney, which is this matte black and this navy one, and also the Simple Step Through 26-inch right here. All right, so let me walk you through each of these. Now, when you're searching for an electric bike, there are many price points available out there. I like the $1,000 to $2,000 price point because you're getting good components, typically a good company's gonna stand behind its product because warranties and replacement parts are very important when it comes to buying an electric bike.

So this Simple Step-Thru 20-inch, the beauty of this e-bike is how light and compact it is. With a very low step-through, which makes it easy to mount and dismount. Now, don't let the size of it fool you. This has a 500-watt rear hub motor and a 10.4 amp hour battery. So you can hit top speeds of 20 miles an hour either by using the pedal assist or just the throttle. So this has a throttle and a pedal assist option. You can go ahead and press this throttle right here and the bike will go without pedaling at all. The battery will allow you to get rides of up to 50 miles on a single charge. So that's a pretty good range that you can have on just one charge of the battery. So like I said, the cool thing is this low step-through frame, easy to mount and dismount. And this is right now $1,000, $999, which for this size motor is a great option. It also comes with seven speeds. Now, the seven speeds are not linked to the gears. The seven speeds are like on a normal bicycle. So you can pedal this, shift the gears, and also use the electric. It has five levels of motor assistance. One, two, three, four, five. One gives you the least, five gives you the most. Also, the handlebars are foldable, so it's easy to transport. Of course, front and rear disc brakes as well for maximum stopping.

Now, this bike and the bike on the end is our Evryjourney. This is a 26-inch model that also has the 500-watt rear hub motor and a 10.4 amp hour battery. So top speeds of 20 miles an hour and also a range of up to 50 miles. The great thing about this e-bike is the forward pedaling position. Pedals are moved forward about seven inches right here. What that allows for is the seat to be lower to the ground, especially on the step-through version over there. If you want to be able to get on and off easily, you also want your feet flat on the ground when stopped, but still giving you proper leg extension when riding, this is the e-bike for you. It also has the seven speeds as well, and the front and rear disc brakes. Also has a very comfortable riding position. You can see your back is upright, your arms are relaxed, and your arms are relaxed as well. Now the seat's a little too high for me, which is why I'm up on my tippy toes. So if you prefer this higher-top tube, that's an option. Or if you want something with the easier step-through option, you have that as well. And right now this is just under $1,200 at $1,199. So another great option rolls nice. I also really enjoy this e-bike if you still want to do pedaling and you want the motor to only assist you. This is great because it keeps you in a nice riding position. So a lot of e-bikes aren't conducive to pedaling. Now, you still have the throttle here if you want, so you can press that and not pedal at all. But if you do like to pedal or use a low level of assistance, really comfortable, and easy to pedal.

All right, lastly, now moving on to the simple step through. This one's right now, $1300, $1299. Same features, the 500-watt rear hub, 10.4 amp hour battery. Now this one's got this unique frame with this very low step-through, which makes mounting so safe and easy. You can see step through and you just slide onto the seat. A lot of people like this feature, especially with the fact that e-bikes are heavier. So mounting dismounting and controlling the bike can sometimes be more difficult for certain riders. So you want to make sure that you can get on and off easily and have control of the bike at all times. Now, the same thing pedaling on this is great if you want something where you can still pedal. But again, you still have those five levels of assistance. The cool thing also is the color options available in both of these. You can see we've got teal, cream, navy, and matte black in the simple step-through. The EvryJourney, we've got about seven or eight colorways. So if you're looking for something with a cool colorway, we've got it. Now back to the simple step through. It's also got the seven speeds here, front and rear disc brakes. You've got the thumb throttle as well as the five levels of pedal assist. So a cool option if you want the absolute lowest step through and the easiest to mount and dismount.
