Top 10 Electric Tricycles of 2025

Adult tricycles offer increased stability, so they are an excellent option for people looking to ride but who need more cargo space or are uncomfortable on a two-wheeler. Add an electric motor, and your trike becomes more than just a fun ride–real transportation can take you just about anywhere. This article will introduce you to the top 10 electric tricycles for 2025.

6. Bunch Bikes Cargo Bike

Bunch Bikes offers cargo bikes that flip the rickshaw design upside down. This fully UL-certified model has a large cargo section on two wheels in the front and a single wheel in the back. So, it’s still a three-wheeled adult trike but with a slightly different style.

The cargo box comes with a rear and front bench. Each bench has two seat belts for added safety. The bench tops also slide open to create cargo space underneath. Bunch offers add-ons like sunshades and toddler seats to upgrade your cargo space.

In addition, there is a rear rack in the back right above the integrated battery. You can strap a bag to it for extra carrying space.

It features a 500-watt motor that runs on pedal-assist mode only. It will offer you a maximum speed of 20 mph. The integrated battery is 48V, providing 20 to 30 miles on a single charge.

Since you will likely carry precious cargo on this bike, Bunch offers hydraulic disc brakes and a ratcheting parking brake for better security.

The Bunch cargo bike is a great choice for someone who carries the little ones to school daily. It's also fun to take the fur babies to the park.

7. Grandtan Turbo Mid-Drive

The Grandtan Turbo Mid-Drive by AddMotoR is a heavy-duty adult e-trike made for off-roading. It can transport up to 350 pounds and an additional 100 pounds on the back. For extra cargo space, it includes front and rear baskets.

The Grandtan features a sturdy alloy step-through frame and a low standover height. It has a unique wooden footrest for style and comfort. The 4-inch fat tires give you excellent traction in all kinds of terrain. This unit also has a MOZO spring suspension fork that keeps you upright and comfortable as you ride.

The Befang 1000-watt motor is mid-drive, meaning it is near the pedals. That extra power provides stability as you ride rough terrain and steep hills. It supports five levels of pedal-assist and full-electric riding modes.

The battery is 20Ah UL-certified with a range of up to 90 miles. Like the motor, the battery sits in the middle of the bike, attached to the bar on the seat tube. AddmotoR brags that the combination of the battery and motor provides 50% more stability when turning corners.

8. EUNORAU NEW-TRIKE

The NEW TRIKE by EUNORAU is a folding adult e-trike. Its folding frame allows for easy storage. The latch release for folding the trike is on the down tube in front of the pedals. Because of its size, though, it doesn’t fold small like some other models. That is one downside to this product.

The 500-watt motor is front-hub and can be increased to 750 watts when needed. It offers five levels of pedal-assist and full-electric riding modes and can transport a payload of up to 300 pounds.

The 12.5Ah battery sits behind the seat on the post. It comes off with a latch, unlike some other electric bikes. That means you don’t have to take the seat off to remove the battery.

To enhance the comfortable design of the NEW-TRIKE, EUNORAU provides a memory gel saddle. The bike also includes baskets in the front and rear.

9. RadTrike

The RadTrike by Rad Power Bikes is made for city riding but can also go on rougher terrain. This folding bike has a step-through frame and is UL-certified. The design allows you to pedal and stand comfortably over the bike. The saddle comes with a back for added comfort. The handlebars, seat, and backrest are all adjustable.

The RadTrike's standout feature is its ability to handle 415 pounds, which is a bigger payload than the other e-trikes on this list.

The bike's front hub houses a 750-watt motor that can reach speeds of up to 14 mph. The 480-watt battery is located on the down tube near the handlebars. On one charge, it can travel 55 miles or more. You can swap the battery for Rad’s 672-watt model for more power.

The RadTrike features rear coaster brakes. So, to activate them, you pedal backward and then forward again to deactivate the brakes. It also had a front disc brake with a long lever and a parking brake. The combination of two braking systems gives you twice the stopping power, just in case.

10. Compass

The Compass by EVENLO is a mid-drive electric trike with a unique feature—rear-wheel drive on both wheels. This has pros and cons. The dual drivetrain allows for more stability and control, making this trike heavier than the other models. The dual system also adds to the price. Still, it can carry up to 350 pounds, with up to 85 in the back cargo basket.

The mid-drive Bafang motor provides 500 watts of power. That gives you five pedal-assist modes and full-electric.

It also comes with a Panasonic 48V battery and a second battery option. You can purchase a separate battery pack to double the range. One battery will take you 18 to 40 miles.

The 2.4-inch tires have a diameter of 24 inches. It comes with a wood-lined cargo basket at the back.
