Today we're going to fit and size riders 4’11 to 6'2 on our Reverse Electric e-trike, our Easy Transit Reverse Eelectric E-trike. We're going to see how we can size the riders 4’11 to 6'2 perfectly with all the custom adjustments so you at home can tell if you can perfectly ride the reverse trike as well. So stick around as we move on to our 4’11 rider. All right, so before we get into our fittings and sizings of the EZ Transit Reverse E-Trike, I wanna walk you through some of the features and specs. Now, you've got this dynamic tilting front steering that you're gonna see how that performs. You've got a 750-watt rear hub motor coupled with the 10.4 amp hour battery. So you can hit top speeds of 16 miles an hour in both pedal assist and throttle only. You also can get ranges up to 50 miles. The range is going to be dependent on the weight of the rider, the terrain you're riding, and also the combination of pedal assist and throttle you use. Now, the electric assist can assist you when you pedal, or you can just push the throttle and it will go when you pedal. So, totally up to you. Now you use the throttle more, you drain the battery more. Use the pedal assist in level five, you drain the battery more. So you have to find a combination of what's good for your rides and the terrain that you're riding on as well. Now, in addition to that, you're going to see you've got the double seat post. It makes it very adjustable with a varying degree of height. Now, the 4’11 rider was a little bit on their tippy toes, which you'll see, but we can accommodate a varying degree of riders. So, it's a super cool, fun, dynamic, balanced e-trike. You're going to see the sizings and fittings and some first-time rides. Here we go.
Dustin: Okay, we're here with Suzanne who's 4'11 and has a 24-inch inseam and her arm length was 17 inches. So go ahead and step on and sit down and let's see how it fits you.
Suzanne: That feels…
Dustin: Too high, huh? Okay, so let me see if I can bring the seat down just a touch. Go ahead and hop off. Okay, let's see. Okay, go ahead and give that a try. If that doesn't work for Suzanne, we've determined we can't have riders. Okay, so it's a little too high. She's on her tippy toes now. I will say, she's 4'11", and her inseam's 24, which is a pretty short inseam, even for her height. So I think in a 25-inch inseam 26 26-inch inseam would be okay, but you can get your feet down at least.
Suzanne: Yeah, yeah, I can touch the ground, you know, and it feels stable, so that's good, but yeah.
Dustin: How the handlebars feel in terms of…
Suzanne: It feels really good, all that feels good, the seat's comfortable and it's just, yeah, when I go to the ground, it's kind of just at my toe, so that's…
Dustin: Fair enough. So she's just a little bit too high. I wouldn't recommend a 24-inch inseam. I would say for 4’11 with a 25-inch inseam or above, you'd be good to go. It would be up to Suzanne if she felt comfortable with it, but generally speaking, probably not the best fit. So let's move up to our five-foot rider and see how they fit. Okay, now we're here with Ashley. She's got a 29-inch inseam and your arm length was?
Ashley: 19.
Dustin: 19. So very long arms and legs for her height. The seat is very low from the previous rider, but I can tell you already we're gonna need to bring it up. So let's go ahead and do that. There we go. Okay, let's try, let's try right about there. Go ahead and lock this in, okay? Now we have a double-seat post here, so I'm just trying to find the right position for all these. Okay, go ahead and try that. Let's see. Can you put your right foot on the ground or is it too high? A little. Does that feel okay to you?
Ashley: It's fine. I would put it a little bit down.
Dustin: A little bit down. Okay, so hop off. Let's move it down just a touch. Okay, try that. Just moved it down a smidge.
Ashley: That would be good.
Dustin: Okay. And how do the handlebars feel? We can tilt them into your body.
Ashley: A little biit.
Dustin: Okay.
Ashley: I can lean forward into it. Yeah, right there.
Dustin: And again, you've got the ability to tilt and raise and lower, which is cool. All right. Feels comfortable?
Ashley: Feel good.
Dustin: She's got a nice upright back position. Good riding position so we've got a good fit at five feet let's move up now again she's a 29-inch inseam so we made a big jump from 24-inch inseam to 29-inch inseam let's move up to our five foot one rider. Okay, now we have Victoria's five foot one with a 29-inch inseam and 17-inch arms go ahead and step on let's see. Is that too high or feel okay?
Victoria: I think it's a little high.
Dustin: A little high. Okay, so go ahead and get off. Let's lower it down. Okay, try that.
Victoria: Yeah, that's better.
Dustin: And how do you like the handlebar position?
Victoria: Perfect.
Dustin: Yeah?
Victoria: Yes.
Dustin: Cool. So that was an easy fit. We got a nice dial-in. Now, they shared the same inseam, but she wanted a little bit lower handlebar, though. They like the position. She's got a nice upright back. And relaxed arms, so that's a good fit for our five-one rider let's move up to five foot two. Okay now we're here with Katie she's five foot two she's got 27-inch inseam and 16-and-a-half inch arms go ahead and try this seat height, and let's see how it works. Good? How about the handlebars for you? Do you want them back a little bit? Do you like them there?
Katie: I kind of like it. This feels good.
Dustin: Okay. There we go. So yeah, she's got good leg position, her back's upright, her arms are nice and relaxed, and we got a good fit for her at five foot two. So let's move up to our five-foot-three rider. Okay, now we're here with Stephanie who's five foot three, and your inseam was 26? And your arm length was how?
Stephanie: 17.
Dustin: 17. Go ahead and try to sit down. We may need to put the seat down for you, but we'll see. Probably just a little bit, right? Yeah. Okay. Go ahead and hop off. All right. Okay. Okay go ahead and step on there. Better?
Stephanie: Yes.
Dustin: And how do you like the handlebars? Too close? Do you want to tilt them back a little?
Stephanie: Maybe a little bit.
Dustin: Okay, let's… Oops, sorry. Okay, find the position that you like. Yeah, okay. All right. Okay, there we have it. Good fit for Stephanie at six foot three. Now she's got the 26-inch inseam which is our second shortest inseam and we were able to make it work for her. So again, we had a 24-inch inseam, a little short, and moved to 26. You can see she can get her feet down great and has got a nice, relaxed, comfortable riding position. So let's move up to our five foot-four rider. Okay, now we're here with Maria who's five foot four. She got a 28-inch inseam and 18-inch arm length. Go ahead and sit down for us and we'll see. Okay, and put your foot, the right foot on the ground. So I can see. How does that feel for you?
Maria: Feels good.
Dustin: Yeah. And handlebars, you like them pushed a little bit farther away, usually.
Maria: Yes, I do a bit.
Dustin: Okay. Do I grab on there, and see what you like?
Maria: There's good.
Dustin: Okay. Okay. Perfect. So Maria's got a little bit longer arms than some of our other riders so far, and we were able to get the seat up for her, adjust the handlebars, and we got a good fit for her at 5'4". So let's move up to our 5'5 rider. Okay, now I'm here with Tasha's 5'5". She has 29-inch inseam and 18 1⁄2-inch arms. Go ahead, Tasha, and sit down for us. Let's see the sizing for you. Okay, it looks like the seat's a little low, so come on and get off, and I'll go ahead and raise it for you. Okay, let's bring this up. Okay, go ahead and try that. How does that feel? Better? How do you like the handlebars there?
Maria: They seem a little bit far out.
Dustin: Far out. Okay, so let's bring them into your body a little bit. Okay, find what you like. I'm sorry, go ahead.
Maria: That feels good.
Dustin: Yeah, okay. All right. Perfect, so we were able to bring the seat up one of our taller inseams. We got a good position. The handlebar is good for her. And we got a good fit for Tasha at 5'5". Let's move up to our 5'6 rider. Okay, now we're with Madeline, who is 5'6", and your inseam is 33. What was your arm length?
Madeline: 19.
Dustin: 19. Okay, go ahead and sit down and let's see. Might have to bring the seat up just a little bit for you. Maybe not. How does that feel? It doesn't look too bad.
Madeline: No, it's not bad.
Dustin: Okay. And how about the handlebar position?
Madeline: I like it.
Dustin: Yeah. Okay. Okay, similar adjustment, now taller inseam, but still she likes the foot position. And the sizing is also about what's comfortable for you. I can give recommendations or professionals can give recommendations, but it always comes back to what works best for the rider. So we got a good fit for Madeline at five foot six. Let's move up to our five-foot-seven rider. Okay, now I'm here with Peter. He's five foot seven, 30-inch inseam, 19-inch arms. Go ahead and have a seat. I don't know if that seat's too high or not. We'll see. Can you get your right foot down on the ground?
Peter: Yeah, it feels a little high.
Dustin: Little high. Okay, so hop off. I'll lower it for you. Okay, try that. Better?
Peter: Yep.
Dustin: Okay. And then the handlebars, go ahead and put the bike upright. There we go. Where do you like him in terms of?
Peter: Right there.
Dustin: Right there. Okay. Feel comfortable?
Peter: Yep. I think the seat can maybe be just a tiny bit lower.
Dustin: Lower?
Peter: I can't get my hip off.
Dustin: Well, you want to be up on your balls, your feet a little bit.
Peter: I like kind of being like this anyway. So, yeah, it feels good.
Dustin: Cool. All right, there we go. We got a fit for Peter at five seven let's jump to our five-nine rider. All right. Now, I'm here with Jason he's our five foot-nine rider he's got a 30-inch inseam and 21-inch arms. Go ahead and jump on a little high. Can you get your right foot on the ground? Feels okay? Okay. And then sit back a little bit for me. There we go. How about the handlebars? Do you like them there? Do you want them closer?
Jason: Let's try a little bit closer. See how that feels.
Dustin: Okay. Bring them in wherever. Right, there is good. Cool. Let me get this out of here. Okay. Pull. There we go. Okay.
Jason: Yeah, arms feel great right here.
Dustin: Yeah?
Jason: Perfect.
Dustin: All right. There we go for Jason at five foot nine let's move up to our five foot ten riders. All right. Now, we're here with Travis and he's five foot ten and 29 and 29-inch inseam and 21 inch arm length. Go ahead and sit down let's see. And put your right foot on the ground for me. Does that feel okay?
Travis: A little high.
Dustin: Too high? Okay, we'll lower it down just a touch for you. Okay, try that. Better?
Travis: Yeah.
Dustin: And how about the handlebars? Do you want them more this way, away from you?
Travis: Let's give it a try.
Dustin: Okay.
Travis: I think right there is perfect.
Dustin: Right there. Okay. Feels comfortable? All right. Now he's got longer arms, so that's why he likes it to be pushed out a little bit at 21 inches. So we got a good fit for Travor at 5’10 let's move up to our 5’11 rider. All right now we're here with Kyle he's 5 foot 11 he's got 27 inch inseam and what do you say for your arm length?
Kyle: 22 inches.
Dustin: 22 inches. Okay, so go ahead and have a seat. Okay, can you put your right foot on the ground for me? Seems a little low, I think. Let's raise the seat just a touch for you. Okay, go ahead and try that. How does that feel? Still low?
Kyle: I think that's good.
Dustin: Okay.
Kyle: Yeah.
Dustin: And how about the handlebars for you?
Kyle: That's a comfortable height for me.
Dustin: Yeah?
Kyle: Yeah.
Dustin: Okay, cool. Perfect for Kyle at 5'11". Then let's move up to six feet. All right, we're with Braxton now. He's six feet tall. He's got a 33-inch inseam and 22-inch, 22-inch?
Braxton: Yep.
Dustin: Arm length. So go ahead and have a seat. We might need to bring the seat up for you a little bit. Let's find out. Put that right foot down on the ground. Yeah, let's bring that up for you. So the cool thing is the double-seat post. We have lots of room to adjust here. All right, try that. Higher?
Braxton: Should I look right? I mean, I'm on the balls of my feet.
Dustin: Yeah, yeah.
Braxton: Feels fine.
Dustin: Okay, cool.
Braxton: Yeah, all good.
Dustin: Handlebar good?
Braxton: The handlebars are good.
Dustin: Cool. All right, we got a good fit for Braxton at six feet. Let's move up to six one. Okay, now we got Mike with us. He's six foot one, 32-inch inseam, which is a little shorter than our six-foot rider and 23-inch arm length. So go ahead and have a seat. Too low?
Mike: It feels perfect to me.
Dustin: Okay, there you go. Yeah. Good fit for Mike then. Let's move up to our six-foot-two rider. All right, now we got Ryan at six foot two. He's got 32 and a half inch inseam and his arms are 24 inches. Go ahead and have a seat. So that looks like we should raise it a little bit, I think. Don't you? Okay.
Ryan: Sure, yeah.
Dustin: Let's bring it up. Okay, give that a shot.
Ryan: On the balls of the feet right there.
Dustin: Feels good? Or is that, should we go higher?
Ryan: I mean, you let me know, I mean.
Dustin: I think we go a little higher.
Ryan: A little higher?
Dustin: Yeah.
Ryan: All right, let's do it.
Dustin: I think your inseam may be higher than we're being led to believe.
Ryan: Oh, we're sitting there. Oh, yeah, that might be true.
Dustin: That might be too high.
Ryan: No, that's. No, I'm on the balls. I mean, yeah.
Dustin: I think it's pretty good.
Ryan: Okay, yeah.
Dustin: And the handlebar's good?
Ryan: Yeah.
So you can see he is leaning maybe a little more forward than some of our other riders because we got to get those handlebars a little bit farther away, but not too much.
