First Time Riding the Rickshaw E-Trike with a Passenger! Honest Review of the EBike Rickshaw!

Hi, I'm Diane, and I'm at sixthreezero in San Clemente. Today, I am test riding the Rickshaw bike, e-bike, and e-trike. And I have not ridden one before. This is a first for me. I'm going to have a passenger. The lovely camera lady is going to be my passenger, so she must trust me at this point. This bike and this trike have the same features. We have our pedal assist. We have up to seven gears. We have a throttle. We also have a lovely bonus extra seat in the back with a seatbelt for added safety. And I'm excited to get going. I've got my display here. So, oh, you know what else this one has for fun? A horn. I love it. Okay, let's go for a ride. Let's try it out. Okay. So I start with the throttle because it's easier that way. I'm currently on pedal assist three. And, you know, you could definitely feel the weight of the bike, not my passenger, the weight of the bike. Oh, I'm going to slow down. Every bike requires a little adjustment for a period. You know, you try something new. So, you want to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable. I'm gonna go up to pedal assist four. Getting the feel for this bike right now. It's a little windy, too. With this bike, I'm just getting my bearings and trying it out, just as you would if you came for a test ride. You know, try it out and see what works. You can definitely tell that there's weight on this bike, as it's designed to accommodate a passenger or two. And so I can feel that. I normally wouldn't be in pedal assist 4 right here, but I am, and that's okay. I feel stable.

I feel in control of this bike. I love... I'll just make a U-turn. Okay. So again, when I'm going from a stop, I'm going to enlist the help of the throttle to get me going. because that's what it's there for. So as you would expect, when you have a passenger, you're not riding just by yourself. So it is going to be a little bit, you need to use a little bit more energy. So I'm at pedal assist five right now. And it's very comfortable. I'm gonna go back in here. You want me to go back in here? And again, when you need that little extra boost, that's what the throttle is all about. You don't want to use it all the time because you're not being as energy efficient as you can be. I'll wait till I get back.

With battery usage, but just even getting past that truck really quickly, the throttle helps. So this is very comfortable. How does it feel as a passenger? It's really comfortable. Are the seats comfortable? Is the seat comfy, too? Yeah. Do you feel like the ride was comfortable? Yes, definitely. It's totally fun. Is there room for more than one person back there? Yeah, you can get two adults. Can you get two adults? Very cool. Well, that was fun. Thank you so much for joining me. Thanks for the ride.

On my first ride on this type of bike or e-trike. So again, like not a huge step over with this bike, but yeah, two people easily. Pedal assist and the throttle and the gears make it super easy for you to be able to have passengers. And my passenger said that it was very comfy, and did you feel safe? Yes. Good. Good. So I like this again. I love all the features on these bikes. I love the pedal assist. I love the throttle. I love the fact that you could switch gears if you want to. Very comfortable seat, very steady bike. Even with having someone on the back, I never felt like we were going to topple over. And we were on a little bit of uneven terrain for a little bit. So I would definitely recommend this. This would be super fun to take people out on, your friends, whoever. Super, just a great bike. I like it. I like it a lot.
