Why All Seniors Should Consider an Electric Trike vs a Non Electric - E Trike Info

Why all seniors should consider an electric tricycle.

Hey everyone I'm Dustin I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry and today we're going to talk about why all seniors should consider an electric tricycle as opposed to just a manual tricycle. Now, I have two electric tricycles right here, the EvryJourney electric tricycle and the Easy Transit E-Trike from sixthreezero. Now, a lot of seniors ride three-wheel bikes, take them around their community, and a lot of them ride manual ones. I'm advocating that all seniors should consider electric trikes for various reasons. Number one, having a little bit of pedal assist is going to allow you to do so much more on your e-trike.

You're going to be able to go a little farther, take on different terrain, and also rest your legs as you see fit on rides. So if you're out for a ride and your legs get tired, you could either turn on the pedal assist or use the throttle. The choice is completely yours. In addition to that, if you have hills that maybe you've been deterred from going up, you can also use the throttle and ride up the hills as well. Now, the other reason for the electric is it's going to, number one, if you're going to invest in a tricycle, there's no non-benefit to having the electric. As an example, on both of these e-trikes, you can see I've removed the batteries, reducing the weight, so you can still ride without the motor turned on. So it's just an added benefit to have that there as an option, and it's going to expand the possibilities. You could go to the stores, run errands, and just do so much more with your electric tricycle.

The other cool thing about something like this easy transit right here is it actually could be indoor and outdoor use it's very compact, easy to steer, and you have a basket in the rear as well. So that's something to consider as well if it could be dual purpose for you, transportation, also indoor and outdoor. Now, in addition to that, the last thing I'll say is you're gonna be able to get cargo space, which you could have on your conventional trike as well, but you could carry so much more if you have a little bit of pedal assist. And let's say you have some leg muscles that have atrophied or you're trying to build them back up, having the pedal assist is going to aid in that because you can use pedal assist level one to start to build your leg strength back, maybe two if you need it, and then over time you can ride with or without the pedal assist as your legs gain strength.

So, totally up to you, and it's a great way to use the motor to help get your legs back into cycling mode. So, A few of the reasons why I think all seniors should consider an electric tricycle. If you have any other questions at all, please reach out to us, at theteam@sixthreezero.com or call us, at 310-982-2877. In addition to that, you can test-ride your e-trike for 30 days, no questions asked. If you don't love it, send it back. And lastly, join our Facebook Pedalers Group, sixthreezero.com, or our Facebook group, sixthreezero Pedalers. There are thousands of members in there. Pop in there, ask questions, and see how other existing riders like their e-trike. Then when you get yours, post in the group, and make friends, it's tons of fun.
