Hey guys, in a few weeks we're going to be going on a road trip, so hit the subscribe button so you can follow along on our journey. And today, we're going to be going on a scavenger hunt, so let's ride.
Hey everyone, it's Alana and Nate here from Sixthreezero. today, we're taking you for a ride-along, but this time we thought we would mix things up with a scavenger hunt. We've got a list here of 10 items that we're going to try to find throughout our ride, and we're going to compete to see who can find the most items on the list.
The things we have to find, we've got a statue, a bike lane sign, a dog, a yellow car, a fruit tree, another biker, a bike rack, a fire hydrant, a flag, and a street sign that begins with your first initial. We'll see who can find the most items and we'll see how long it takes us. And if you want to try this, there will be a link in the bio so you can download the list as well. Let's get started.
Okay, I tried to memorize the list. I think we'll probably find a fire hydrant first. I know where there's a bike sign, a bike lane sign.
I know a bike rack.
You do? You probably know more than me because you're more aware of your surroundings than I am. Maybe I'll spot the dog before you though because I'm always on the lookout for dogs. Actually, I already spotted a fire hydrant.
Wow.
That's one for me.
Oh, another biker.
Uh. Okay, so before we even started, we spotted a fire hydrant and we spotted another biker. But I think we should just-
Ride first.
... yeah, let's ride at least one block before we count anything.
All right.
Okay.
Okay, I thought this was going to be really easy, but it's actually kind of hard. It's hard to remember everything that's on the list. I've been looking for a yellow car and I haven't found one, but we did see two dogs already.
Statue. I saw another statue but you... flag. Two flags.
Nate said my bike lane sign was not a real bike lane sign, so I have to look for another one. I thought I spotted a yellow car, but it was just a dirty white car. We did find two more things. We saw the statue and a flag. One, two, three, four, five, so we're halfway done. We have a bike lane sign again, yellow car, fruit tree, bike rack, a street sign that begins with your first initial. Okay, let's go.
Okay, so we saw a few real bike lanes signs, so we can cross that off. Bike rack, fruit tree, street sign, yellow car.
I found a bike rack.
I'm pretty sure I saw a lemon tree on one of my rides earlier this week, so we're going to see if we can find that.
We've been biking for at least an hour and we have not found any N or A streets. Let's see what we can find here with the map.
I mean, there are a lot of North something streets, so I don't know if that counts as a N. Okay, I found an A street.
But we're still not done. This is proving to be quite the task. We still have to find a yellow car. Hopefully, we find it soon.
We found it. I can't believe it. We finally found a yellow car and it's the last item on our list, so we are done.
We actually completed the scavenger hunt. I can't believe it. Well, actually, at first, I was worried that we were going to finish too quickly because we found the first three things within five minutes it seemed like, and then as we went along it became clear that it was more challenging than I anticipated.
