An awesome 750-watt step-through fat tire e-bike for riding trails casually and relaxed.
Hey, everyone, I'm Dustin. I have 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today I'm going to show you an awesome fat tire 750-watt e-bike with a step-through frame. That's amazing if you want to ride trails, but still be comfortable and relaxed. All right, so this is the Simple step through a 750-watt fat tire e-bike. You can see it's got this awesome step-through frame, which makes mounting and dismounting a breeze. Also has a 750-watt motor and a 14-amp-hour battery, so you can get up to speeds of 20 miles an hour in a range of up to 50 miles.
Now, today we are out in San Clemente on some trails here. We're going to take a ride on the simple step-through. What really sets this apart is that it is a fat tire e-bike that puts you in an upright riding position, which also makes it easy to mount and dismount. A lot of these fat tire e-bikes out there, they either have a really high step over the frame or they're just not a very comfortable riding position. Now, the simple step through is the lowest-fat tire step through of any e-bike out there. This is 14 inches. So you can very easily step through the frame, as I said, and slide back onto the seat. And once you're on, you're seated in an upright riding position with your arms relaxed, your back relaxed, and it's just fun and comfortable the whole way.

So this is not, of course, hardcore off-road terrain. This is a fire trail. E-bikes are allowed out here. But it's definitely bumpy, right? There are divots and bumps, and so the fat tires and, of course, the front suspension make it really easy on your body and comfortable. You can get out here and enjoy the scenery and not have to be in one of these lean-forward positions the whole way. So let's give it a rip, and we'll take you along for the ride. Oh, let me put my kickstand up. So the one thing about a lot of, as I said, a lot of the fat tire e-bikes on the market is they don't necessarily focus on comfort.
You know, they focus more on motor size specs and, of course, having like a super rugged appearance. So what we're trying to do with the simple step through is still give you the ability to ride these trails while focusing on comfort and the riding position and all those things the other brands don't focus on. And I am 230 pounds. This is a 750-watt motor. Some bumps right here. And again, I have my suspension unlocked, so it goes smoothly up and down as we hit this, get into a little rocky terrain right here. And we just roll over that nice and easy. Okay, now to San Onofre. Let's go ahead and take this. So this is gonna apparently lead us down to the beach. So let's give it a shot.

And again, the simple step through handles it no problem. So you've got a 14 amp-hour battery that comes standard on here. So you're going to get up to 50 miles of range. The 14 amp-hour is really nice. It gives you a lot of range compared to some of our other e-bikes, which have 10.4 amp-hour batteries. So if you're someone who, you know, you want to be out riding significant miles, like 20-mile rides, you're going to really want something bigger than 10 amp hours, or you're going to want to have an extra battery with you. So now we've got some loose dirt right here. I'm going to take it a little slow down here, but mechanical disc brakes are no problem for this, are no match. And again, I may look like I'm bumping up and down, which I am, but honestly, I'm not feeling it that much because of the fatter tires and the suspension really creating a nice, really absorbing a lot of it.
So I don't feel it as much on my butt and in my arms, because your arms are another place you could feel the vibrations, you know, when you're going over a lot of bumpy terrain. Right. And then as we round this corner, we're going to have a little hill to go up. And so I will show you how we perform on the hill as well. Holy smokes. Stay to the left. Stay to the left. So this is some serious terrain here. We're not going to try to go through that. And we have to go through a makeshift bridge right here. Make sure we do that. We did. The camera person made it.
All right, we made it across our drawbridge there. Let's get up this hill. You can see how I use the throttle to help me get moving. It really is a big help. OK, so now we've got a fork in the road here. And let's see, actually, it looks kind of like a dead end, so we're going to stay straight. Although I don't know. All right, so you can see this is definitely a good little hill here. And. With the 750 watts, no problem for my frame at 230 pounds. And again, we're riding smoothly. And we got a pretty strong headwind as well. I mean, we're headed west right now. So that's something to also consider.

There's no question about it. I think we're exactly where we do our rides. Yeah, we are. All right. Got a nice little steep hill right here. Let's see how we do. Whoa, big dip. Now the other beauty is how this rides smoothly on pavement as well. So we'll come down here. Stop right over here. All right, so that was just a quick little jaunt through some trails there. You can see we did great, super comfortable. And again, we're gonna continue on our ride now on the pavement.
