Hi, I'm Diane. I am at Sixthreezero in San Clemente, and I'm going to be testing the Simple Step Through Fat Tire e-bike. And I'm very excited to take a ride on this bike and test it out. There are a couple of things that I'd like to point out. We have seven different gears. We have pedal assist that goes up. You have five different options with pedal assist. It's a 750-watt battery, which is really cool. It's a fat tire bike, which means the tires are a little bit fatter, and that makes it a little bit more stable. If you hit a rock or something on the road, the bike isn't going to jump one way or the other as it can with a traditional tire. And something that's really cool and special to me is this feature right here, the simple step through. So it's very low. I believe it's one of the lowest in the industry. in terms of how close it is to the ground. And I like that because I don't have to worry about my foot getting caught up when I'm trying to mount or dismount the bike. That's really important to me. The handlebars look like they're gonna be a very comfortable distance apart. So let's take this bike for a ride. Are you ready? Come on, let's go. All right, let's go.
And since I'm starting on an incline, I'm going to enlist the help of the throttle. We're going uphill, so right now I'm in pedal assist four, which I'm actually going to click down on because the hill is not that dramatic. Back up to paddle assist three. This particular e-bike has a 750 watt motor throttle motor, which means there's a lot of oomph. When you hit it, you go. I like this bike. It's gosh, like there's zero strain whatsoever on my upper body. I just clicked into pedal assist five and took off. And with pedal assist, what you'll find really interesting, what I found interesting, is that when you pedal, you feel the pedal assist push in. When you stop pedaling, you feel it kick down. So now that we are getting more to the top of the hill, I'm going down in my pedal assist, which is a very easy click with my thumb. And... We're cruising. What I also love about these bikes is that there's a display right in the center. So at all times, I can see what my energy level is. How fast am I going? How far am I going? How much exertion am I exerting? It's great.

I always slow down. It's very windy here again today. And I think I mentioned when I was test riding another bike, I never considered wind to be a factor in bike riding. But if you think about it, if you've gone out on a day when it's windy, but the wind happens to be at your back, you're cruising, right? Like you're going super fast, and you're thinking, oh, I'm such an athlete because I'm exerting energy. zero energy, but then you go to turn around and go back home or wherever, your starting point, and all of a sudden you're head on into the wind, and you're not quite the athlete that you originally thought. So that's where the pedal assist or the throttle really comes into play. Never considered that before, but it's a huge consideration for me now as I evaluate either the different type of bike or trike that I'm going to move forward with.
Again, I'm making a transition from road biking and mountain biking, pretty much more road biking, into the world of e-bikes, e-trikes, e-quads, deciding which way I want to go. My hands are light and easy on the handlebars. Again, I'm not a fast downhill rider, but I'm riding the brakes because I'm going about 26 miles an hour. 29 now, that's a little fast for me, even though it's a safe road. And very smooth, I'm not losing momentum. I'm not losing control of the bike at all. And even taking this turn, at 20 miles an hour. It was nice and easy. So I'm back on flat land. I'm going to go back down to pedal assist one. Oh, I love this bike. If you're looking to do something just very comfortable in your afternoon, just go for a cruise, yet have the ability to go up and down those nasty hills, this is a good bike for you. And changing the pedal assist or switching gears is so easy. It's like Second nature.

It's very comfortable on my shoulders. Does it matter which? Go the back way. And once again, with pedal assist, once you start pedaling, it engages the pedal assist function. So it's so nice. I just went on a pretty, I'd say, challenging ride. There were a lot of hills that would not have been possible if I were on my road bike. I just couldn't do it. And there's no reason not to live life the way that you want to. So again, I'm able to ride, to sit low. I have the simple step-through, which allows me to get off the bike without worrying about tripping over the frame itself.
We have a 750-watt motor, which gives you a lot of oomph going up the hill when you want it, whether you're using the throttle or you're using pedal assist. I love this bike. It's comfortable. It's smooth. My body does not feel fatigued. I love the fat tires that will allow me to hit a bump in the road and not worry about the bike skipping all over the road. It's a great bike. This is what I'm going to suggest. Do what I'm doing. Come out to Sixthreezero. Test drive a variety of different e-bikes, e-trikes, the e-quad, and the quad. and see what feels best for you.
