QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
What’s the difference in the 3-speed and the 7-speed? I understand how gears work in general. I’m getting this bike for riding on campus and the campus is really hilly. I want to now which speed would work better for me.
If you have a lot of hills, the 7 speed would be a better choice for sure.
The 3 Speed models are great if you are in a primarily flat area and have a few moderate hills, but it really sounds like you need 7 speeds. -
Hi There, Does the Men's 3-speed "Ride in the park" come with a coaster brake? I have not been able to find out conclusively if it does? Best, Micha
Greetings,
The Men's and Women's Ride In the Park 3-Speed model bikes all have a freewheel, they do not have a coaster brake.
Front and rear handbrakes are included.
This feature is specific to the Ride in the Park and Explore Your Range 3-Speed models. All other 3 speed models, such as the EVRYjounrey and the Around The Block all have a coaster brake on the 3-Speed versions.
Thank you, and please let us know if you have any other questions.
